OlderJennifer Aniston & John Mayer: Perfect Love?
Jennifer Aniston opens up to UK’s Daily Mail about her relationship with John Mayer, turning the big 4-0 and having babies someday.
On describing her life now: “I would say that this is the best moment of my life. I’ve never felt better physically or professionally; I am a very lucky woman.”
On if there is such a thing as a perfect relationship: “I don’t have one and I don’t think it exists. We are just fooling ourselves if we think it does. Whoever said that every relationship has to last for ever? That’s hoping for too much. I think every relationship is a world unto itself… The truth is, I’m very romantic. It’s a shame that people stop being romantic out of laziness. And communication is vital. People often expect their partner to read their minds and when that doesn’t happen, they get upset, then the other person gets even more upset, and it is all because they didn’t talk it over at the beginning.”
On starting a family someday: “Of course I’d like to be a mother some day, and I love children. But a movie like this (Marley & Me) reminds you that you start your life with expectations and dreams, then life unfolds and it doesn’t always turn out the way you’d imagined.”
On what makes her happy: “Just hanging out. Sunsets makes me happy, silly things make me happy. A nice bottle of wine with some good cheese makes me happy. Being in love makes me happy.”
On her future with John Mayer: “I don’t really think about it. I have never been a woman who dreams about getting married and having children and having that house in Connecticut. On the contrary, I’ve always gone with the flow. I enjoy the moment because life goes on while you try to make plans; it’s better to make the most of every second. So I just try to live in the present.”

All u people are crazy if Jen is happy then she is happy good for her, if she wont have kids thats her problem maybe later she can adopt one if taking care of herself makes her feel good thats what she should do….every one get a life and if u like Angelina good for u too just stop hating everyone.

Very good debra77 so true. Some of the posters negative posters are John Mayer fans, most of his fans hate Aniston but Jen fans want to call them Jolie/Pitt fans. Jen and her fans really have a vengeance for Jolie/Pitt.
Good for her! She is a realists. She is right, your life doesn’t really turn out the way you imagined, sometimes better. And she looks better than she’s ever looked! I hope she’s happy.

Oh honey, grow up, will you? You act like you’re fifteen years old. Aniston may hate Angelina Jolie but you can rest assured Jolie does not hate Aniston. She has no reason to. Aniston does not figure in Jolie’s life in any way, shape or form. I doubt very much that Angelina has spared a total of three minutes thought for Aniston in the past four years. The only connection they had was Brad Pitt, and as far as concerns Aniston, she’s completely out of the picture. Angelina and the children are the center of Brad Pitt’s life. Aniston is nothing but a footnote. She was someone he was married to once. It didn’t work out. The end.

Marriage is for those who want it, but it is certainly not the only path to happiness in a relationship.

These 2 couples have lasted longer than 99% of marriages in celeb land.
Because they love and respect each other and make the joint determination to be a couple. They are as “married” as any with a piece of paper are.

Well sweetie, i wrote that whole novel and all you got from it was “Angelina hates Aniston”? That’s not what it was about at all but about how rude the Jolie fans are to Jen (I’m not saying Jen fans aren’t rude to Jolie fans). This article isn’t about Brad at all but AJ fans just nit pick at everything she says! Which is ridiculous and what got me so worked up in the first place.
Jennifer could be talking about her dog and AJ fans will still post a stupid “Maniston is desperate” comment. Its beyond frustrating.

@75: I understand what Jen is saying because I don’t dream of having a husband, 2.4 kids and a house with a white picket fence either. However, if in the future I met the right guy, then I would be open to all that. But I’d do it in my own time, and if the guy can’t wait, then he would be welcome to go and do it with someone else!

Exactly. But why don’t the magazine editors understand this?
Aniston didn’t want marriage and kids. She got it.
Brad wanted a big family. He got it.
All of them are happy, the end.
She most certainly did not “open up” to Daily Mail, those are just quotes they stole from her Vogue interview, its an awful newspaper that everyone living in UK can attest to, they are shameless!
