Drew Barrymore strikes a pose in Balmain in this new photo from the April 2009 issue of W Magazine, on stands March 24th. Here are some interview highlights from the cover interview:
On working hard to be happy: “I get out of bed with a spring in my step like, I’m going to f—in’ rock this day. I’m going to make people happy. Here I go.”
On her 5 year relationship with ex-boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti of the Strokes: “One of the most, if not the most, important relationships I’ve had in my life. We’re still very close. I’m just learning who I am and how relationships work and how to make them function. No different from anyone else.”
On her relationship with her own mother being “the polar opposite” of a love story: “My mother and I split ways when I was very young and have never really reconciled.”

It can’t be a compliment to have them photoshop YOU right out of your own picture. This doesn’t even remotely look like her. I’m not talking about the old prune face picture (that one looks more like her than the others lol).
