Angelina Jolie Gets Salt Sexy
Angelina Jolie dons sunglasses as she leaves the set of Salt, flanked by bodyguards and aides on Wednesday (March 11) in New York City.
The 33-year-old super mom took a break from her blonde wig after shooting multiple scenes down in Washington D.C.
It was recently reported that E! Entertainment TV donated $250k to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation last year. The contribution was one of four donations, including Brad and Angie themselves as well as Jerry Weintraub, the producer of Ocean’s Eleven.

After shooting in Washington DC for a week under a blonde wig Angelina Jolie was spotted back in New York today. Salt will continue filming there…which sets up a Chosen One/Little Sci playdate soon?
Bet you the GMD is rushing home from Japan right now for the photo opportunity, and of course to stare at Brad all day while the kids are running around.

Word is the Jolie has been happy and in great spirits on set. Very excited by the action sequences, super loose on set with the crew, pleasant to everyone, but also extremely opinionated about her dialogue. Am told she was overheard discussing with the director - no, it’s too early to say that at this point. I think it should be saved. That should be saved. Apparently she was repeating this over and over until he agreed.
Whatever. I prefer her kicking the sh-t out of people saying nothing at all. Or a sex tape with Brad.

Some women do. Actually the age of having grey hair is genetic. I know afew girls in their 20th having grey hair. My mom got that gene from my her dad and she got grey hair in her 30th , although my grandmother still doesn’t have any grey hair in her 70th. It is all genetical.

The only one to report this book is In Touch who are hardly the bastion of truth. No legit news source has picked this up. And even if Brett didn’t sign a confidentiality agreement with Jolie, if he was working thru an agency, then he probably signed one there.

Angie’s kids have a loving totally involved and hands on DAD, Brad.
Brad is with THEIR kids while Angelina works for the first time in 15 months. How many working moms would love to be able to work once every year plus like Angelina.

I’m NOT saying that the amount of media exposure which the JP’s get is ALL the fault of Brad and Angelina, per se, but there is no doubt that the world follows what the JP’s are doing like its some sort of reality TV. What they wear, who they adopt, when they have children, where they are staying, what they bought, what they are doing in films, or with the kids, or in their charity work.

I’m not going to say that Brad and Angelina don’t have responsibilities for the publicity. I would never make them victims. They could both retire for good for example and in fact, that’s what they are both planning to do in their 5 or 10 year plan from the sounds of it.

But right now, from teh JP’s own actions, it seems to me they make choices with a clear idea of their needs, and their priorities.

They choose movies which appeals to them and not just doing it for the money. They raise their children as they see fit, even if other people may not approve. They spend their money as they want - which includes substantial donations to charities they care about. AND above all, they use their fame to draw attention and publicity to wonderful causes - the PR alone is worth millions of dollars to these causes.

It seems to me, from their actions and their own words, that Brad and Angelina KNOW EXACTLY the WORTH of their fame. I don’t think they use that CURRENCY LIGHTLY at all which is why they do their homework on their causes and their profession.

Angelina has said herself that one of the reasons why she does what she does is hoping that through her, through the “familiarity” with her, people are willing to take a look at situations which are neither familiar or comfortable. So through her, we see the refugees in Darfur, and Thailand and others. But the key thing is, Angelina does recognise that she is sort of “familiar”. This is part of the power of celebrity and Angelina and Brad use it very very well.

So do they retain some mystery still about them?? I do, but like I said, there are plenty of people who think they KNOW a celebrity. They may be crazy but….

Reps for Brad Pitt are seeking trespassing charges against E! Networks after a producer and cameraman allegedly walked onto the actor’s property in the Hollywood Hills last week.
“Yes, we have filed trespassing charges against E! and are exploring our legal options against both the crew that actually trespassed and the network itself,” his rep tells PEOPLE.
A Los Angeles police spokesperson says the incident, first reported by TMZ.com, is still under investigation.
The cable network, meanwhile, is denying any intentional wrongdoing. “E! Networks is investigating allegations that a producer and cameraman who were filming locations for a program about Brad Pitt went onto property last week that is reportedly owned by Mr. Pitt,” according to a statement from the cable channel.
“E! Networks did not instruct or authorize anyone working on its program to improperly intrude onto private property, and the individuals involved have been terminated. While neither Mr. Pitt nor his family were at the property when the incident took place, the network in no way condones or encourages such behavior and would like to offer its most sincere apologies to Mr. Pitt and his family.”
I didn’t know it was E photographers who trespassed on their property, how terrifying. They were there for a week or so right? With camping gear and food supply with huge camera lenses. Mickey Rourke has closed his deal to play the Russian villain in “Iron Man 2.”
His involvement was expected (Daily Variety, Jan. 7), but dealmaking was arduous after Marvel Entertainment offered “The Wrestler” star only $250,000 for his first major studio film in years.
More than one option
Rourke’s salary will be now better than that.
While his ICM rep, David Unger, battled for more dough, Rourke’s encounters with “Iron Man” star Robert Downey Jr. on the awards circuit sealed his participation in the film.los
Rourke won the Golden Globe and was Oscar nominated for “The Wrestler” and Downey got Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for “Tropic Thunder,” so Downey used each occasion to recruit Rourke.
When Downey, Rourke as well as actors including Frank Langella and Anne Hathaway took part in a roundtable discussion with Newsweek’s David Ansen, Downey interrupted the proceedings, reached across the table and flat out asked Rourke to do “Iron Man 2.”
Rourke also met with Jon Favreau and scribe Justin Theroux and got to be part of the development of his character. He’ll play Whiplash, a character that includes elements from that comicbook villain and Crimson Dynamo, another Russian baddie.
Marvel wouldn’t confirm Rourke’s involvement, but he’s planning to join Downey, Sam Rockwell and Samuel L. Jackson, with Scarlett Johansson the frontrunner to play the Black Widow.

New Orleans’ Own Field Of Dreams
George Washington Carver High School - reduced to a collection of prefabricated buildings that sprang up amid the devastation of Hurricane Katrina - is a fertile ground for dreamers.
Just ask Carver graduate and former National Football League star Marshall Faulk.
“A lot of life-lessons were taught at that school and in that football program,” he said. “My coach got me off the street and taught me to believe in myself. That’s what football can do in a school where kids don’t have a lot of other things.”
Carver is a centerpiece of an ambitious plan to restore pride in the 9th Ward community and a lifeline for students who are struggling to re-establish their lives after the devastating storm which killed more than 1,600 people forced them to flee the city.
The school’s football team and band are back, and a $1.8 million proposal to build a football stadium and Olympic-quality track is gaining steam.
“We’ve all lost so much here,” said Mary Lodge Evans, a 1962 Carver graduate and president of the alumni association. “As far as a community, we still have a long way to go, but the school is giving us something to rally around.”
The 531 students - down from 1,200 pre-Katrina - are drawn from all over New Orleans. They are mostly poor and mostly black. Principal Vanessa Eugene said many students’ lives were disrupted by the storm, and some were homeless or living with someone other than a parent. Some were out of school for a year or two.
“It’s things like our sports and the band that have brought these kids together,” Bordainick said. “They are very proud of what we’re doing here, and feel very much a part of it. That’s a big thing for kids who have lost so much.”
Katrina devastated the Carver neighborhood in August 2005, pouring a dozen feet of water into its modest homes and small businesses. Most remain empty, still bearing high-water marks and the circled X’s searchers left as they looked for storm victims.
Unlike the Lower 9th Ward, this area received little attention and less help. Where the wrecked houses in the Lower 9 have been demolished and volunteers, including Brad Pitt, have been building new houses, the area around Carver looks much as it did when the flood waters receded.

At New York Comic Con 2009, Universal and Top Cow gave fans a sneak peak at one of the more interesting games coming out this year, “Wanted: Weapons of Fate.” Developer GRIN has taken elements of both the comic book and movie and combined them with unique gameplay mechanics like bullet curving and a momentum building cover system. “Wanted: Weapons of Fate” is looking to put its own stamp on the action game genre when it hits shelves later this month.
******You’re introducing some new characters into the “Wanted” universe with this game. Can you tell us a little about them?
Since this is technically a sequel to the film, we had the opportunity to create new characters that expand on the “Wanted” universe.***** One in particular is Arana (which means “Spider” in Spanish), and she is the game’s Femme Fatale and was inspired by the Angelina Jolie character from the film. Paz Vega brings her to life through her voice-over performance. I was lucky enough to sit in on her voice over session in Madrid, Spain. There are many new characters – you’ll have to play to meet them all.

Pitt, who has a home in New Orleans with his wife, actress Angelina Jolie, founded the Make it Right Foundation in 2007, helping build environmentally sustainable housing for low-income people displaced from their homes by Hurricane Katrina.
In her public remarks, Pelosi said Pitt had told her about how the houses being built are not only “wonderful homes for these families” but built to a “green standard,” with utility bills of less than $10 a month.

LIke the glasses. Not a huge fan of Angie or Brad after their affair. I liked Angie in Tombraiders and Gone in 60 Seconds they were mindless action movies that I found perfectly entertaining without trying to be anything but fun to watch.
Since I have tried to enjoy her other movies, but, I just havent liked any of them - Changeling was nothing but her yelling and screaming throughout the movie, which was irritating. Wanted, shouldve been better just as a movie, but, I think she overacted her part. Then the real stinker of Daniel Pearle…
I am hoping she has gone back to where she made her money, in the female lead roles similar to an Indiana Jones type movie. Nothing wrong with it - just ask Harrison Ford as he counts his money.

They weren’t photogs, they were cameramen. E! was planning on doing a special on Brad & Angie in the vein of True Hollywood Story…and scrapped it after they got caught with their pants down. I don’t think they ever used any of the footage they got. They probably had to give it up as part of their settlement. The story posted earlier was the polite version of what happened. Brad’s security caught the E cameramen AT A WINDOW filming the inside of Brad’s house. I can’t remember exactly, but it may have even involved a broken window. And the stupid thing was that there was a work crew at the house (construction - Brad was tinkering again) at the time and they were the one’s who alerted security that there were tresspassers on the property.

U are crazy err. I did watch Changeling AND Mighty Heart. I saw Changeling at the movies and saw MIghty Heart(most of it - stopped watching in the part where Angelina sat alone in a room and was whaling or I just couldnt buy into her character interpretation of Mrs. Pearle especially her Mother Teresa approach to forgiving the City of Karachi… I could go on and on, it just wasnt good and I am glad I saw it on DVD so I could walk in and out of the movie.
I am not a hater of Angie. I see her movies, I am just not an obsessed fan of a woman I have never met, nor, will never meet. I dont like what has been said in print about their affair… but, again, that’s on them.
I do have a fondness for her action movies, she usually does a very good job in these. They are supposed to be over the top and she plays that very well.
I Don’t think Angie grey at all because when she was pregnant last year and she can’t use chemicals she didn’t have no gray unless she used the friut and It is almost impossible to grey this much in less than a year. But if she did gery I don’t see what is the big deal she certainly doesn’t care if it show she go out like with it. That is the point I was trying to make, albeit not very well. Last year when Angie was pregnant and breast feeding, her hair was dark, because she couldn’t use chemicals, and there was no sign of grey. Same this year, as late as February when the family went to Europe to promote ccobbb, and her hair was still quite dark7, no grey was showing.
Changeling and A Mighy Heart were excellent movies. It does take very mature adults to see them and appreciate that it’s based on real life experiences. Both of those women went through so much pain losing a husband and a child is beyound heartbreaking. I’m just happy that Angelina was chosen to pull off both of these movies and left movie goers in tears and just so much respect for the women who actually went through that. Not many women could have pulled that off, Angelina was great portraying both lives of those women.

I dont like what I read about their affair and how it has played out in the media. The primar blame goes to Brad Pitt as he is the one that was married and secondly to Jolie who knew he was married. I could care less that it was Jennifer Anniston or someone not in showbiz. Jennifer Anniston is a so so actress that is very much like Angelina Jolie and is a little limited in her range. Which of course is not always a bad thing. If the movies entertain me then I like it.
As for Marianne Pearle I have the upmost respect for her and empathize with the situation she had to face and the reality of bringing her child up without a father because of the ruthless killing of her husband. Me not liking the acting(as many people didnt) of Jolie in Mighty Heart has nothing to do with my thoughts on Pearle.

No hair gate here. I was having an issue with Fug Face who was ragging on Angie.
Mary, seriously, no one buys that you’ve seen any of those movies. Everything you’ve said about them is wrong. Not in a subjective good/bad way, but in a “Dude, that totally is not what happened in those movies.” Angelina barely SPEAKS in Wanted. She had a ton of her lines cut, and her character is coldly unemotional throughout. There was nothing TO overact. You obviously did not see it. And anyone who thinks Changeling was about screaming clearly saw the trailer and is going off of that, because the ENTIRE POINT of the character is that she’s incredibly timid and quiet for almost the entire film.

Wanted - LIked the bombs on the rat. Knew the Dad was the man he was after quickly into the movie - I called it among friends(we watched on DVD). I didnt like the part with Angie in the grocery store where she is trying to save the main character. I kind of liked the ending where all the bad guys are lined up in a circle and because they didnt follow the code of the assassins she fired one shot that went around in a complete circle and took out all the bad guys including herself. I thought the trough they healed in was weird. It was a strange movie in general, I liked the acting of the main character but that was about it.
I was a real follower of the Daniel Pearle and saw things on this that many of you in real life did not witness. While the movie did help me with some closure… I was not moved by Angelinas performance. I so wanted to be with her in the scene in the hotel where she just breaks down, but, I just couldnt buy it. I didnt like her accent. I just didnt get connected like I wanted on this film. I bought it on DVD, because I didnt want to be crying in the movies - but, I wasnt moved to tears, I was bored and disassociated most of the time in the film. It’s direction was not good either.
Changeling. Well, my sister LOVES all things Clint Eastwood as My father has everything he has ever done and we watched these growing up. I really had big expectations for this film as well. Just because Clint Eastwood. I went in with an open mind and this is the only one I saw at the movies. Angie REALLY overplayed this role and it just wasnt believable. I didnt believe Angie as a victim turned activist.. I just didnt. sorry. If you dont think I saw the film fine, if that helps you sleep at night - good for you.

Still, lately the couple have seemed happy together. Our Cannes theories were never about MAM. It’s that Jen has an annual tradition of having romantic headlines break while the JPs are in Cannes. She’s done it two years in a row. So if she’s not with John, she’s going to need to find a replacement FAST.
