Please, Kate was being a hypocrite. In her campaign for the Oscar, she was willing to throw anyone under the bus. From what I have read, her life in England was as much a “soap opera” as she claims the JPs is. I hate any actor who chooses to comment on the lives of their peers. It shows bad taste. I hope now that she has won her Oscar, she will keep her mouth shut.

Why did you ignore the reality of Brad being with his kids while Angie works? Is this not the same arrangement many familes do indeed have if possible?

All know why you comment as you do, because you want to paint a picture of a bad mother while the opposite is true. You are one of the few unintelligent and biased who persist in your belief in a PR generated fairy tale that never existed and that the delusionary mirage of a curtain was lifted up and reality revealed in Jan 2005. 1) Brad and Angelina are no exceptions. Kate Winslet and her family is caught up by the paparazzi quite often and is on the tabloids too. ALL actors are photografed and on the the tabloids, magazines etc. Some more then others, but no one can escaped them.

2) The mistery is always there because you don’t really know anything about those people. The only things you know are about them are throught the little things they share in interviews when they are selling their movies and you only see them once in a while, a few secs throught the pictures of paparazzi.

3) The Oscar have nothing to do being in tabloids or paparazzi.

I’m NOT saying that the amount of media exposure which the JP’s get is ALL the fault of Brad and Angelina, per se, but there is no doubt that the world follows what the JP’s are doing like its some sort of reality TV. What they wear, who they adopt, when they have children, where they are staying, what they bought, what they are doing in films, or with the kids, or in their charity work.

Seriously, the last time I saw this much media frenzy over a human being, it was with Princess Diana. I challenge anyone over the age of 40 who can point to an equivalent media phenomenon since jackie Kennedy remarried Onassis.

And this sort of intense publicity could rob Brad and Angelina of some of their mystery. People THINK they know you, even if they don’t really know you.
.
I’m not going to say that Brad and Angelina don’t have responsibilities for the publicity. I would never make them victims. They could both retire for good for example and in fact, that’s what they are both planning to do in their 5 or 10 year plan from the sounds of it.

But right now, from teh JP’s own actions, it seems to me they make choices with a clear idea of their needs, and their priorities.
.
They choose movies which appeals to them and not just doing it for the money. They raise their children as they see fit, even if other people may not approve. They spend their money as they want - which includes substantial donations to charities they care about. AND above all, they use their fame to draw attention and publicity to wonderful causes - the PR alone is worth millions of dollars to these causes.

It seems to me, from their actions and their own words, that Brad and Angelina KNOW EXACTLY the WORTH of their fame. I don’t think they use that CURRENCY LIGHTLY at all which is why they do their homework on their causes and their profession.
.
Angelina has said herself that one of the reasons why she does what she does is hoping that through her, through the “familiarity” with her, people are willing to take a look at situations which are neither familiar or comfortable. So through her, we see the refugees in Darfur, and Thailand and others. But the key thing is, Angelina does recognise that she is sort of “familiar”. This is part of the power of celebrity and Angelina and Brad use it very very well.

So do they retain some mystery still about them?? I do, but like I said, there are plenty of people who think they KNOW a celebrity. They may be crazy but….

Another bit of out of the box thinking to consider:

Frankly, one of the reasons why I rarely complain about people like IUC and Terd C and the tablies saying that Brad and Angelina are on the verge of breaking up, or having affairs etc, is that I believe it helps them maintain some air of mystery. Are Brad and Angelina really that in love and happy together? What’s the true story?
.
The public might take the tablies and blogs with a large handful of salt, but I do think at the back of their minds, they wonder if Brad and Angelina are really as happy as they seem to be in public. That is the mystery.
.
Again, to be clear, as a fan, I believe Brad and Angelina have a great relationship, just judging by the synchronicity of their actions. Acting whilst one is “resting”, taking the kids out, travelling to places, doing their charities. This couple have a lot to talk about, a lot in common. .
.
But its not a bad thing for people to wonder if Brad and Angelina’s story isn’t just too good to be true. LOL. This way, Brad and Angelina retain some mystery.

Yes, Brad and Angelina are more persued then other celebs, but they are not caught up as much as others are.

I see pictures of other celebs and families every day, that does happen with Brad, Angelina and the kids. You want and example? Jeniffer and Violet.

through observation of past recent a further decades of artists, this seems true. either there dead in which case the fascination grows because they’re no longer here or little is known of the true artist behind the art.

a classic very current example of such an artist little is known of to the point no one even knows how he looks like is BANSKY.

u think his work will be as sought after if he had a face? think not. he’d be just another grafitti artist.

banksy did this banksy did that. banksy was here banksy was there. and so on. theres never banksy is currently working on….

you see where I’m going with this. anyway that was a fairly extreme example but same principle nontheless.
