Brad Pitt & Patty Murray Make It Right
Brad Pitt meets with Washington Senator Patty Murray to discuss affordable and environmentally sustainable housing at a meeting in Senator Murray’s office in Washington D.C., on Thursday (March 5).
The 45-year-old actor/activist requested the meeting with Senator Murray, who chairs the Senate Housing Appropriations Subcommittee, to discuss his “Make It Right” project that constructs sustainable housing for low-income people living in New Orleans’ lower Ninth Ward.
Partner Angelina Jolie is also in town filming her spy flick, Salt.

It’s sad that the ex fan’s think the triangle is more important than helping the homeless. Precious families that have been displaced. People need help dumb@ss’s. Narcissistic people can’t understand that. Thank God Brad and Angie are stepping up and really trying to help. If more stars did then the world would be a better place.
Jen fans would stoop so low as to bash someone that’s trying to help others. I have found a new hate for Jen and her fans.
My thoughts on the Make it Right project :–
There is good that come out of these. 1st — People who were displaced will have a home. 2nd — there will be jobs created during construction.
Finally, once this neighborhood is put back together, this can be a POTENTIAL tourist stop for tourists, visiting the area planned with the world’s renowned architects. We all know tourists like to visit UNESCO world heritage sites. The same reasoning can apply here. Travel company can set up WALKING tours. Where can you find a place with all those houses, planned by world renowned architectects ALL IN ONE LOCATION ? And to see how eco-green features are applied, to learn about the history of pre and post Katrina. It could be very educational too.
With tourist bus bringing people to the neighborhood, there will be shops springing up to cater to the tourist, gift shops, restaurants, ice cream store, coffee shop, hotels, etc. Gift shops can sell post Katrina postcards, different houses blueprints, tote bags, MIR T shirts. Heck, they can even bottle those dirt or muds from the site and sell them. It’s all good for the local ECONOMY.
Tourism is big business !!!
Brad’s ideas are BRILLIANT !!! This is the man who has the foresights, the connection, the drive , and the heart. He has all my respect.
We should be greatful that Brad is shepherding this project with his precious TIME.

Wow, Star is really such a ridiculous tabloid. They pretend like they have that insider who gives an “eyewitness” account of the so-called confrontation between Brad and Angelina regarding the Nanny. Man, you would have to have been either Holly Goline, James Haven, the elder Pitts or Doug and Julie to HAVE WITNESSED THIS CLOSE the so-called slapping incident. The present nannies and bodyguards of course are ruled out because of their confidentiality agreement, unless they want to get fired and not work again in Hollywood.

OPRAH: Brad’s new movie is so fascinating. It’s call the CCBB and it opens Christmas day. If you haven’t seen the cover of the art issue of W magazine you did all these photographs. You’re quite the photographer Mr. man.
BRAD: We have a lot of fun working together and doing these projects. When films come out, it’s customary to do a magazine do a photo shoot and help push the film. And we just thought ‘let’s do it together see what happens’ it was total experimental. But at the same time I thought, if we’re going to do this lets just do things around the house. When Angie is usually shot she’s seen as a femme fatale, she does that very well, but also she has the biggest heart and inexhaustible spirit and sweetness and goodness, and she’s the real glue of the family, and that’s what I wanted to portray in that. We just shot it very casually during the course of the week and it was really fun for us.

Just making a note of this for posterity. So if they’re still together by say, June 1, will you go away forever? That will have covered Cannes, which I’m sure is the next step in your How To Delude Yourself and Act Like An Insane Person Guide. Right now, they’re only together until Angie’s movie finishes shooting, after that, they’ll only be together because Cannes is coming up. After that, they’ll have to stay together for Inglourious ********’ release, then for Tree of Life, then comes awards season, which Brad will likely be a part of. Then it will be time for Salt’s summer 2010 release. So that brings us to…Fall 2010. I guess that will be the big public separation announcement.
