OlderFreida Pinto: Next Bond Girl?
Slumdog Millionaire beauty Freida Pinto has been invited to a screen test for the next Bond movie, reports UK’s The Sun.
One of Hollywood’s hottest properties, the 24-year-old Mumbai model could become the new Bond girl.
Freida was first spotted by producers during the casting for Quantum of Solace but has most recently been swept up in Slumdog mania — eight Oscars, seven Baftas and four Golden Globes!
A source said: “She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent. But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm. [Slumdog director] Danny Boyle is favorite to take the helm of the next movie, which would increase Freida’s chances of a starring role.”

Wow, for a racist you sure can’t speak or write proper English. What the hell is a “hispanian,” the word is Hispanic, and Pinto is Indian, which is what she looks like, idiot. I have nothing against “European girls” (which sounds like a euphemism for white girls), but that’s already been done, it’s time for some flavour.
I can just imagine how embarassed Jennifer Aniston must be now for just stating recently at the age of 40 that she would like to be a Bond girl and here they are asking a 24 year old. (it was ridiculous of Jennifer to say that anyway, she could be a Bond girl’s Mom maybe)

I like Freida, but I because I’ve only seen her in Slumdog, I can’t imagine her as a Bond Girl. At least not as the type of Bond Girl with a bit of an ‘edge’, and a slight dangerous personality. She seems too much like the ‘nice girl next door’, and in that, she resembles Jen. But if they are looking for the type of ‘nice’ girl that Gemma played in QoA, it might work (and I liked Gemma in that role, although I think she could have played a more sexy and devious character, too).
As to her age, she looks a lot younger, and I thought she was only 18, so maybe that went against her in the QoS casting.
I don’t find any special features about her. When I was in Dubai I have seen so many Hindi films dubbed in English. Her beauty is just plain compared to the famous Bollywood stars like Rekah, Sredevi, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai, etc.

Karl the Indian women you listed look more Eurasian than real Indian women. The women in Bollywood films never look like Tamil or Sri Lankin women at all. Nor do they look like the everyday Indian women in the teeming slums.

LOL! Well, she WOULD be embarrassed if she had that capacity. From her antics with Mayer, it is clear she was born MISSING the “embarrassment gene.” Freida will be alluring as a Bond girl, while Aniston would never even be CONSIDERED for the role. All of Hollywood considers her a JOKE!
This woman is becoming world famous for one lousy movie? Is this a conspiracy or something because she totally does not deserve it. And Celine Dion is too old for a Bond girl and Anniston is too manly looking.
From what everyone says Daniel C. has a strong opinion as to who the Bond girls are. I guess he passed over Frieda last time but now she is the “it” thing in Hollywood he has changed his mind. Olga was not very good and his gf is a dog. Hopefully, they will have someone else pick the Bond girls for the next movie. Besides looks get someone who can actually act.

I know Freida is Indian, I meant she looks southern and I said ,,no next this type,, in the next movie . Olga played Hispanic and did not well it. Sorry, no southern girl again. I want see new actress who has looking like Myrna Loy, or Marlene Dietrich,P.u.s.s.y. Galore or Ursula Andress, some sexy proper cat in the next movie. Proper Bond girl finally!! They ‘ve had minority women as Bond girls in the past, but only two: Michelle Yeoh (chinese) in Tomorrow Never Dies. Halle Berry (African American) in Die Another Day. I think it would be great to have a woman from Indian play the next Bond girl. Every girl can be a Bond girl I think.
Frieda is a very pretty girl but I think Daniel Craig is a bit too old for her. I love him but he looks as though he could be more her father. It would just seem a little creepy of Bond going after someone that young. Hopefully, they will have a good story first before casting an actress just because she is “hot”. The last plot was a little ridiculous (Bond, a cold-blooded killer seeking revenge for his one true love, Vesper).
danny boyle isn’t directing the next bond, and no I don’t think frieda would make a good bond girl yet, she is pretty though maybe in a few years when she has a few more movies under her belt then she could audition for Bond. this is just a blog rumour though i saw it on google this morning.
