OlderFreida Pinto: Next Bond Girl?
Slumdog Millionaire beauty Freida Pinto has been invited to a screen test for the next Bond movie, reports UK’s The Sun.
One of Hollywood’s hottest properties, the 24-year-old Mumbai model could become the new Bond girl.
Freida was first spotted by producers during the casting for Quantum of Solace but has most recently been swept up in Slumdog mania — eight Oscars, seven Baftas and four Golden Globes!
A source said: “She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent. But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm. [Slumdog director] Danny Boyle is favorite to take the helm of the next movie, which would increase Freida’s chances of a starring role.”

She is ok. Only by sheer luck she is enjoying all this hollywood life. Please enjoy it freida. But leave Daniel alone. She is no way a Bond Girl. She does not have that “quality”. She is ok for other movies.
They would NEVER pick JAnniston. A bond girl is mysterious, exotic looking, sexy, etc. Anniston is Rachel in EVERY movie, not the least bit mysterious, and exotic ONLY if you’re talking about her chin. She has no range. AND James Bond movies don’t need big names (at least she thinks she’s a big name) helping out. James Bond is James Bond.
I finally saw the pap-in-the-box vid. it doesn’t really make my opinion of her any different, lol, except that she acted more like a handler then a G/F.
and megan fox is a little too trashy to be a bond girl, beautiful girl but classy…. eh not really.

I am with the people who think Frieda and Megan would not be right for a Bond girl. First, I think they are too young for DC (Gemma looks older than her years), second they have no spark to them. These girls are pretty and bland but I guess that is ok as Olga is also pretty but bland.

I thought 22 and 40 was pretty creepy. Technically he’s old enough to be her father. Given he would have been 17 when she was born, but think of it, it’s like a 17 year old having a crush on a newborn baby.

Listen I am not a $at$ fan myself but I really don’t think she is worth any attention as she is not the celeb. I hate the attention on her dopey RuPaul outfits. I think more importantly the attention should be on DC and the Bond movies. I think Freida is very beautiful but I do think she is too young for DC. I like the idea of Kate B. as she is beautiful, can act and is the right age for DC. I honestly believe this whole thing (Danny B $ Freida) is a publicity seeking rumor. Sorry I don´t want see Freida (Indian) or Satsuki (Japanese) in the next bondmovie, I want see some European, I liked Vesper Lynd, Caterina murino and Strawberry Fields, Daniel as James Bond doesn´t need Hispanic girl again, look at his James, European girl is more right for him.

It can be an English, Italian, Swiss or Polish for 23.Bond, I am southern nationality myself, my roots are in India, but I don´t look so. I am southern too and I don´t want see Freida in the bondmovie because she totally is not good for Daniel´s 007 who is so cold and white like a chalk. But over they way, I´ve read that Daniel likes Hindi movies and he likes crazy bondmovie with Moore where one bond girl crazily danced indian dance. But I bet Olga Kurylenko will get a part again and others will have not luck to get a part. It depends if producers will do decision about continuation for Qos and I think it possibly will happen in next months (in summer as Daniel will meet Babs and Michael). My friends are international, I am friend of Vietnames, chocolates from Ghana, Burkina and Malawi, but damn, I don´t want see some bore and darker Freida without sparkle by white chalk Daniel side! Better is Megan Fox, if Megan will wear elegant clothes and sit aboard a train, so she´s perfect too, if she will fire or fight, she´s good too! She looks like a mafian´s bride. Not being ageist in any way, but I think casters should watch out that Dan doesn’t look ridiculous with girls on his arm who are half his age. Roger Moore said in an interview once that he was starting to feel silly acting with Bond girls half his age - ok, I think he was in his 50s then, but often, younger girls don’t make the man look younger, they make him look older because the age difference is too obvious. I’d love to see him with a 30 or even 40 something actress, somebody like Monica Bellucci, perhaps.
i think we should all just take a deep breath here. the write up says that freida was invited to screen test for a part in the next bond film. it’s a far cry from being offered the job. if any of you have seen what happens in screen tests you’ll know what i’m saying. in the first place, freida is more than likely only one of many women being looked at. she probably has a “look” that one of the casting agents likes. so he/she invited freida to test. that’s all!! before the final decision is made daniel craig and the other decision makers will be have seen a lot of screen tests from many other women.
