because many people assume you are yelling and find it both offensive and rude. personally, if you feel the need to express yourself in all caps then go for it. after spending the last 4 years driving back and forth from work through the holland tunnel here in new york i’ve learned to handle all kinds of rude people. a person using all caps in a post is nothing.

These Business Arrangement-Relationship set-ups, in the Hollywood style, are done alot more than people realize, especially when one is in the public eye.
These arrangements are done all the time in the film business.
Just look at Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhal, yes… they are very very good friends, but it is said that this is an arrangement to suit both parties.
And as was mentioned in a previous thread, - the same type of “set up” situation with the recent wedding of Ivana Trump and her italian “boyfriend”" Rossano Rubicondi - just so, as the press said- she could still be or remain “revelant”.

It seems like Dan is acting very contradictory - he wants privacy, and goes to celeb and pap haunts, while using a decoy? Actually, that would have made a good Comic Relief sketch, lol.
Dan was never the person to court celebrity, and he only went to public events if he was asked to present there or to promote a film. Now he suddenly appears at those places where people go to be seen, but that’s not how he got film roles in the first place, so why is he doing it now? He used to be interested in good scripts and playing multi-dimensional characters, and for instance, when he made Flashbacks, he knew it would not be a massive box office film, that wasn’t the intention of the film. He wasn’t into all that. Unless he was meeting somebody at the Ivy to talk about a film or play, I don’t know why he would go there. Or was it to show that he is back in London? But he never did this before.
He certainly doesn’t look happy, and he looks so tired and worn out - that man really needs a break!

You do realize what’s next don’t you?
a) Someone coming on about them breaking up
b) Someone saying they had an argument at The Ivy that night and saying how miserable they both looked.

Both kind of posters are lying toads, because they don’t know ANYTHING!

How can they be so miserable with all of this attention. If they didn’t want the attention they wouldn’t have come to the Ivy. If she is “overwhelmed” by the paps she should just enter separately;he is the celeb who people want to see. No, she loves the attention and would never back away from the paps.

Freethinker- I do think that either his agent/pr rep - or someone else - told him to get over to both mr. Chows and the Ivy London to be seen and i think he just hates it! HATES IT! and that is why he got that Decoy-

No, there is no pretense there, basically he’s got this ‘f… off’ face’ on him…

Depending on when they came back from LA, but wouldn’t you like to just relax in your own home for a bit if you’d been away for weeks? Of course, if they came back at the beginning of the week - they might have had some chill out time at home, but somehow Dan doesn’t look chilled…

He also doesn’t look relaxed for somebody who was apparantly taking a six-months break after QoS (as mentioned in some magazine).

Also, the area is really busy, full of tourists, theatre-goers, etc, and it was probably mad there last night, being Friday and Comic Relief night - if you want peace and quiet, you don’t go there.

So, for some reason or another, he felt he had to show his face there -maybe it was a meeting to chat business over dinner?

He is I believe a member of many private clubs in which he can conduct business without intrusion like this.

Pure press attention that’s all. I do have a feeling he is doing it for Satsuki as her film is being released in a couple of months.
I remember reading when he dated Kate Moss he went there and snuck out the back through the kitchen to avoid the paps while she left through the front.

I was thinking that After the debacle at mr. Chows…and he is showing up at the ivy London, for whatever reason- but I do NOT believe for one sec it was his idea or that he wants to be there- maybe she does- I just think that he did the decoy thing bec he Hates these type of places and at the end of the evening he wanted to avoid the paps altogether.
he has a really mad look on his face, PO’ed for sure.
And if he is trying to make her look good, that certainly is not working….at all!
he leaves her in his wake, leaves her left behind like an unwanted orphan!
Look at her, she looks pitiful and lost, not a good public image to launch her….IF that is what they were trying to do when they went there…
