Camilla Belle is West Side Story’s Maria
Camilla Belle takes on the role of Maria and helps re-create scenes from the beloved 1961 film version of West Side Story.
Vanity Fair really hit it on the nose with the casting. The 22-year-old Brazilian beauty received help from Tony (Ben Barnes, also known as Prince Caspian), Anita (Jennifer Lopez), Bernardo (Rodrigo Santoro) and fellow Sharks played by Brandon T. Jackson (Tropic Thunder) and Jay Hernandez (Grindhouse, Ladder 49). The Jets are played out by Chris Evans (Riff) and Cam Gigandet (The O.C., Twilight), Drake Bell (Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh), and Robert Pattinson (Twilight).

Rob should be in the front. Gee, Cam Gigandet has such bad skin, acne or small pox scars?? Ben Barnes who???? Camilla Belle is lovely, no doubt about it.

camilla belle cant act for **** and she does no justice to natalie woods either. she loves to pose though so maybe she should just model and try to look good.she isnt ugly nor would i call her beautiful and seriously she needs a eyebrow wax.
BB I so agree with you, I think Ben Barnes is gonna be around a lot longer then Robert, he’s only known for that crappy vampire movie, sreeming obsesses tween fans and a small role as Cedric in HP (I watched that movie and cant remeber him being in it)

What is wrong with you!! Ben DESERVES to be in front!! Rob is just flavor of the month, people will forget him soon enough. Seriously, he’s only done Twilight and suddenly he’s a great actor?!?!? I just can;t see past the terrible teeth, bushy brows and that nose!! The “tweens” are just in love with the Edward Cullen character. I think Ben will definitely wow them with Dorian Gray and as Hamlet in Ophelia. Go Ben!!

margie, @BB, i’m with you two. but i’m more with mimi, i’m all for cam gigandet. and yes he a twilight guy but move on to other things, he’s going to be big, and i love ben too. but CAM is my #1.
Camilla Belle is gorgeous but she looks completely blank in these photos, hardly any emotion.
I urge all of you who liked this photo shoot to get a hold of the deluxe DVD version of the movie. There is an extraordinary ‘making of’ feature (much of it based on 8mm film shot during the filming) that I think is the very best “extra” ever included in a DVD package. Check your library if you can’t find it on Netflix.
I love Ben Barnes, but I think Robert and Camilla have better chemistry. I think Rob should have been Tony instead
I think Zac Efron would have made a better Tony as well. Idk Ben just doesn’t capture Tony at all to me.
