Christian Bale is The Meter Man
Christian Bale feeds the meter before entering the Casa Del Mar Hotel on Wednesday (March 18) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 35-year-old British actor will next star in the gangster flick, Public Enemies, as Melvin Purvis, a lawman appointed by FBI founder (and supposed cross-dresser) J. Edgar Hoover (Billy Crudup).
Public Enemies, which also stars Johnny Depp, opens everywhere on July 1st. Check out the trailer at the official website at PublicEnemies.net.

My favorite look on him - clean shaven and longer hair (like in Laurel Canyon).
He always looks miserable and so old for someone in his early 30’s.

I will not be surprise down the road he will beat up a paparazzi or a fan and be in court like Kanye West and Jake Gyllenhaal.
This movie is all about the Deppman.
No one is “condoning” what he said all those months ago (including himself from what I understand), but it doesn’t mean we can’t love what this guy brings to the screen.
Oh, and I completely agree with Ricky and find it cool he tries to be normal. Can’t be easy with the paps constantly breathing down your neck…
#19, he couldn’t freakin’ park if he didn’t pay for it. Everybody has to pay to park. What’s so amazing about it?
