Angelina Jolie is draped in dust and appears to reach for a police officer’s gun while she continues to film on location on Wednesday afternoon (March 18) in midtown Manhattan, NYC.
Salt has been filming outside the courtyard of St Bart’s Church where Angelina has been playing raven-haired femme fatale Evelyn A. Salt.
An advertisement for Wanted, picturing Angelina firing weapons was deemed to condone gun violence, Britain’s advertising watchdog said on Wednesday. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled that the commercial gave the impression that “using guns was sexy and glamorous”.

Another First Look at Angelina Jolie in Phillip Noyce’s Salt
Usually I wouldn’t run a random photo like this, but it just really caught my eye, and I had to feature it. Something about the way it’s composed and the way Jolie looks and the back story behind the scene really just intrigued me. Although those first photos of Jolie made her look quite gorgeous, I prefer to see more photos of her in action, like this one. It’s this kind of imagery that will actually get me more interested in Salt, not beautiful photos of Jolie. I need to know more about the action, and so far it’s looking really good. In addition to Jolie, co-stars Liev Schreiber
and Chiwetel Ejiofor were both present at the shoot as well.

Brad Pitt is set to star in another tongue-twister of a movie after signing on for the adaptation of Leanne Shapton’s book Important Artifacts and Personal Property From the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion and Jewelry.
The actor seems to enjoy long titles after fronting The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which earned him an Oscar nomination. For Important Artifacts, he’ll star alongside Natalie Portman.

Don’t hold your breath. It ls extremely diffcult (and EXPENSIVE) for a public figure to maintain this kind of a lawsuit (defamation would be the logical cause of action). And we all know John Boy’s reputation for pinching a penny until it screams, so I doubt you’ll be seeing him in court anytime soon. Yes, his rep issued a statement saying the story was false and decrying Star, but you just know John Boy is loving having his MEiston time in the spotlight extended without actually having to be SEEN with her.
Whether true or not, the article was funny as Hel!. Curiously, parts of it also had the distinct stench of Huvaniston, especially the part where John Boy supposedly said that Jen was “the best he’s ever had in bed,” and the even more ridiculous part about him taking so many photos of her because he found her “incredibly beautiful.” Yeah, right! I believe that about as much as I believe he isn’t feverishly using every available connection to try to meet Megan Fox even as we speak.

A Mighty Heart is a painful film to experience. Daniel Pearl’s kidnapping and murder were in constant rotation on every news channel imaginable back in 2002; the story was horrific and the images of his grieving, pregnant wife proved to be haunting to many. By telling the story through Mariane’s experiences, the film provides a new perspective on the events of the kidnapping, while never actually showing Mr. Pearl’s own struggles with his captors. A Mighty Heart exists entirely through the eyes of Mariane Pearl; her conversations, private moments, public statements and struggles are shown precisely as she would have experienced them at the time.
There are many effective supporting performances in A Mighty Heart, but the film is, without a doubt, an Angelina Jolie vehicle. She appears in almost every scene in the film; the tremendous emotional weight of the subject matter rests squarely on her shoulders. She creates a complex character whose strength shines through her obvious pain. With a lesser actress, the role could have easily fallen victim to over-acting and melodrama.

box office of angelina movie is not acurate because in kungfu panda is Jack Black movie and Wanted is James M movie, she is not the main character..her main character is only on changeling and mighty heart..
I think PAul Rudd/Vince V , Reese W /JA make more money as more profitable than BP and AJ compare to the cost of they movie..that Forbes resource.
Salt is AJ movie and its her perfect money making formula, action and violance..its her gendre..Drama is great on her but people tend to watch more action/horror/comedy in the general.specially movie who aims younger viewer (child and teen) or man.
AJ can not do romcom..she try before not her style..(she is not funny or likeable)..but tough and intense character is her strength.
I wish she eat more..She lost her hot body from Lara Croft.
BTW in this economic situation Studio more likely to produce low budget and sure hit theme like JA/Paul ruud gendre..
If I am the head studio, I will backing JA project than AJ/BP..its more economic sense…specially AJ and BP fee quite enormous.

Siska: following your reasoning, film studios should not be making The Dark Knight, Iron Man or any Will Smith movie and should just finance The Break Up or The Object of My Affection or Marley & Me. Then that would really make them lose the foreign markets. Because if you paid any attention, the comic book-based and action movies are flourishing in international markets, while romcoms, except for a few like Mamma Mia! and Sex and the City.

And sure, people went to see James McAvoy in Wanted. Not too many people even know who James is, why do you think Angie was so prominent in the Wanted poster, and even got the blame for the glorifying of guns and violence. So when it comes to the blame, Angie gets it, but when it comes to giving credit for the movie’s success, James gets it? Ha ha ha, you guys are so laughable!!!

To break that down for the slow kids…not only was Angelina given as a reason people paid to see the movie, she brought the male/female ratio to almost 50/50, which is very rare for a violent action movie.
