Angelina Jolie is draped in dust and appears to reach for a police officer’s gun while she continues to film on location on Wednesday afternoon (March 18) in midtown Manhattan, NYC.
Salt has been filming outside the courtyard of St Bart’s Church where Angelina has been playing raven-haired femme fatale Evelyn A. Salt.
An advertisement for Wanted, picturing Angelina firing weapons was deemed to condone gun violence, Britain’s advertising watchdog said on Wednesday. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled that the commercial gave the impression that “using guns was sexy and glamorous”.

rom-com or american comedy except Jim Carrey’s com. rarely make money in the international market which unfortunately comprised 67 % of a film world wide gross. so why do you think big bosses would splurge money on action movies, The Bond films, Spiderman, Depp’s Pirates , Dark night, the new Transformer movies all cost around 200 million buck, bosses are still preparing for continuing sequel on the following movies. Yes, there are some rom-com films which do well in the international market but still consider a few.
Stop your B.S that Wanted is not Angie’s movie, did we see McAvoy face in the promotional poster ? he was even rarely mention by the movie crittics nor movie buff on the film . And KFP might not be Angie’s film, but the studio bosses used her as a major movie promotional tool . I read somewhere in Variety , studio bosses are skeptic that Reese animation will done as well as KFP in the global market one of the reason is they don’t have Jack Black and Angelina Jolie.!
Yes, at this time of recession, rom-com is much cheaper and less risky, but remember your buddy idol is 40. there are a lot of younger, prettier, talented, cheaper rom-com actresses over there. And try to remind you , the older, much talented, much likable by the minivans and more famous than Maniston rom-com actress are still there competing with man , Julia Robert is back, Bullock had 2 rom-com coming out this summer. Reese, Anne H. K. Heigl were always mention as potential J.Robert successor, no mention of man. don’t think studio bosses wnat to bet on the talentless aging hag.

this one isn’t a romantic spy thriller though.
Salt, starring Angelina Jolie, is filming at St. Bart’s (5oth and Park, NYC) again Saturday, 3/21. FYI: Salt is filming in studio today (Friday) and Angie will not be on set We heard at one point the studio was going to be the former Grumman Aerospace Factory in Long Island but we’re not positive that is where they are filming today.

I love Angelina and no I can’t see enough of these stills. I am so excited about the movie. I can’t beleive we have to wait another year for its release. I my self believe that internationally, action movies attract more audience that rom.com movies. At least that what happened in my country (Indonesia). Action movies tend to played fews week longer in the theater,. Beside, people tend to watch light movie (a.k.a rom.com) in dvd. But people watch action movies in a theather.
