Gwyneth Paltrow Builds A Bear
Gwyneth Paltrow takes her children — Apple, 4, and Moses, 2 — to lunch at Italian eatery Da Silvano in New York City’s West Village on Saturday afternoon (March 21).
Looks like Apple is not a big fan of the pack of paparazzi surrounding her!
Afterward, the family headed to the “Build-a-Bear” toy workshop, “where best friends are made.” The kids customized their very own stuffed animals!

Maybe she’s carrying Apple because there are paparazzi swarming around them and she needs to get to her car quickly.
She’s carrying Apple cause they’re swarmed by paps. Da Silvano is not the place to go if you want to avoid the paparazzi. It’s one of the most popular spots in the city. All the stars go there. I can understand the Build-A-Bear, but there’s so many great places to eat in New York that are more kid-friendly and much less pap-intensive.
Time for Gwyneth to trim her hair; it’s starting to look like my favorite mop.

I used to find Gwyneth pretty, but lately she’s plain at best and fashion disaster/borderline tranny at worst.
I don’t think it really matters where she goes. The paps will go anywhere she does, especially with her kids. I’d carry my 4 year old daughter if she was being upset by a pack of agressive photographers sticking cameras in her face. She’s just being a good mum. People should give her a break. There should be tougher laws to protect kids from paps. It obviously causes her distress. If strange men were photographing your daughter you’d be pretty p*ssed! It’s just wrong not to protect kids.
She needs a new look. The black on black and tights are so played out.
Oh, it definitely matters where she goes. It’s unlikely Gwyneth stays in her apartment the entire time she’s in NYC. Why doesn’t she get photographed all the time then? Because some places are constantly hounded by the paparazzi. Da Silvano’s like going to The Ivy in LA. You’re definitely going to be photographed.

Apple is so tall! the kids are adorable, Moses is quite a little hellraiser. ;) you can tell from his expression . Cute! Gwyneth is carrying Apple because of the paps.. anyway, at this age, kids sometimes still want to be carried, esp. when tired and cranky. I don’t have a problem with GP.. she’s a typical, upper class NYC kind of gal.. snobbish, rich and removed from real life problems (though she thinks she has them ;). At least she’s not pretending to be “next door” as some of those phony HW stars.

All of the people who keep questioning why a parent is still carrying their child are obviously not parents! Seriously, do you even have children? Most parents will still carry their child occasionally while they still can, especially in situations where there child is upset. My husband will still pick up our 6 year old if she is really upset or afraid. What is wrong with actually being a good parent?

yes, i admit these kids are cute but i wish gwenyth would take care of Apple’as eye problem! My 5 yr. old niece had the same eye problem and just got surgery!
Da Dilvano? I wouldn’t think that would be a place to take children. But then it’s for lunch so the patrons would be more forgiving at the sight of children than at dinner.

At first, I thought Moses was Apple…lol. He is a beautiful child! I read that Chris rarely goes out in public with her or the children. Odd, if you ask me. And, with the crazy people out there today, I would carry my child too if I were her. I don’t think you can keep your child away from the public. I think that would be bad for them, and I also agree that they would follow her anywhere. I give all these celebrities credit for taking their children out rather than keep them in hiding like J. Lopez. Children like to go to parks and it is such a shame they have to be followed everywhere. Look at Alba…ugh, what a pain that is for her and her daughter. I would hate that, but I would still want the child to go to the park like other children.

I was there when Gwyneth entered the Build a Bear Store in NYC. To Tamara (#12″), there were paparazzi all over the place outside the store. I feel bad her kids have to go through this. It’s not the life they chose, but heads up to Gwyneth for doing the “normal” mommy things.
Poor Apple..she’s deathly afraid of the paps!
