Perez Hilton? the paps? I love how she and Zac never let either faction get the upper hand on them. They never respond to the paps no matter what and Vanessa has refused to talk about Perez. Zac from the very beginning when Perez was saying all kinds of unflattering things about Zac has never said anything bad about him. From the beginning he has said that if that is the worst Perez could say about him that he thought he’d be OK and how he knew that many people see what Perez prints as “entertainment” I bet it infuriates Perez that he can’t get Zac all riled up to say some insulting thing in the press about him. Then Perez would be noticed and it would only turn into a childish “he said, he said” kind of thing like Rosie and “the Donald” have going. Both Vanessa and Zac have proven they are a whole lot smarter than to play into these people’s hands.

Perez pretty much adores him and Zac in response to that love for him said more or less nice things in his interview. You would think since Perez spews vitriol at Vanessa pretty much every single time, that Zac would be less complimentary towards him. Unless that was supposed to come off as sarcasm in which case it didn’t really come across.

You got that right. You hit more than a nerve that’s being sorely battered and I’m afraid this is going to be the first of many loss-of-control reactions.

You do realise as I’ve mentioned before that we’re being entertained by a campaign where a part of the group pretend to be illiterate fans and the rest pretend to be ‘rational’ haters and they carry conversations with each other all aimed at trying to create a certain impression of Van and her fanbase.

Perez and some of his fellow tabloid bloggers have waged a campaign of hate against Vanessa for two years (incidentally, since she refused to take a picture with him), it has not had any impact on her career prospects, her popularity, her standing in Hollywood or her private life including her relationship. It’s like water off her back, she doesn’t need his approval, she’s doing just fine without it.

She’s not demeaned herself by attempting to acknowledge him. Why should she? She’ll always be accepted through doors that are closed to him and he’ll ever remain a tabloid blogger, she can afford to be gracious, she brings him hits.

For Zac or Vanessa to give any hint that they are irritated is to say that the barbs have hit home. To brush Perez off with flattery (which he would stupidly lap up) is the right sort treatment for attention seekers with less than average IQs.

Other bloggers have noticed how insecure Perez is and has called him out on blocking comments that don’t agree with him. Being liked by Perez is the least valued credential among Hollywood top brass. TIME rates him as the number one overrated blogger. I guess he’s the stable fare of the tabloid loving masses, hence why Zac and Van refuse to respond to his low-class shenanigans.

These inconsequential people trying to succeed where Perez has failed are laughable. They can be as ‘concerned’ as they choose to be about Vanessa’s relationship. The fact is that SHE is the one in the relationship and she is conducting it the way SHE chooses and is certainly enjoying it. As with these pictures, she is always serene and relaxed, a woman loved and adored, who knows it.

Let the fretting and wondering and clamor continue in the blogs by those who lack meaning in their lives. They’ll remain in the blogs and will never affect her life.

I suppose, to put it another way, it is impossible for people less secure to understand that kind of self-confidence and security that does not need public defence. Vanessa’s self-esteem is inherent; it has nothing to do with public opinion about her or her relationship. She is who she is and will remain so irrespective of what people think.

Wonder if there is any truth to the rumors circulating here in London that her guy is shagging one of the young starlets he knows. Stories are running rampant these days about Zac Efron. She does not deserve such disloyalty. Poor girl.

Vanny14, I don’t think Zac is gay. There wouldn’t be as many pics or articles going around about him and other girls in Europe and Australia if he were. He’d continue to play the dutiful, faithful boyfriend instead. Less questions that way. I think it’s more likely he’s a 21 year old guy caught up in a whirlwind of excess everything and no one around and willing to tell him no.

It doesn’t make it right, it’s actually quite disrespectful and a horrible thing to do to someone especially if he still does consider Vanessa one of his best friends. But they’re still really young. She’s 20 and he’s 21. It’s humiliating for Vanessa to have to live through in the public eye but life happens and people do things to hurt each other. Maybe this is the lesson they’re going through right now. Vanessa seems very resilient and classy in the face of embarrassment so I’m sure she’ll weather through this with her friends, family and work.

The thing is, don’t these posters who say all this crazy stuff about Zac’s fidelity or Vanessa’s lack of a career see just how DESPERATE their comments are? The saying “less is more” should be taken in consideration here.

Since the pictures of Zac and Vanessa on the Hawaiian beach were taken in April/May of 2007 there have been those sad people out there—including the likes of Perez Hilton—-who have tried to develop ways of predicting their doom or to make fans doubt and worry about their forthcoming relationship failure. You’d think by now they would know how silly they look especially to the loyal fans who have never strayed all this time and have continued to find the truth. The fans do not fall for such escapades for they KNOW what is true and what is being fabricated by desperate souls wishing to cause upset and mayhem in the world.

Also, has any “thinking” person taken into consideration just how hectic Zac’s schedule has been the past 2-3 weeks? I seriously doubt that the young man knows where he is much less what time it is. Even if he had no PR or security people traveling with him—who I’m sure have to tell him where he is suppose to be and what time it is and be sure he is even awake—he would unlikely have time to find some female so he could be unfaithful with her just because he wants to be full of himself or take advantage of everything being offered to him. That is so totally ridiculous.

Fans KNOW the score and we shouldn’t even have to worry about hearing it from For Real. But I would like to thank For Real for his/her comments as it does serve in putting some people’s minds and hearts to rest and shuts the “mouths”—or should I say “fingers” of others?

Naomi, you are my hero! A beautiful example of Vanessa’s fans, who aren’t delusional, as some think, but thoughtful, supportive, and “have her back.”

Vanessa is an aspiring actress, as they say. THAT means, she’s a “work-in-progress”. At 20, she has much to learn, and will hopefully have the opportunities to work with directors who will bring out her best. But she has such potential, screen presence, and beauty, that she’s certainly one to watch. Some actresses are amazing at a very young age, like Jodie Foster, but most need time to develop and grow. I say she’s got all that it takes…..now she just needs some great teachers and good projects. I believe in her.

I gotta say that those who spew so much hate at a celebrity have got personal issues which need to be addressed. Don’t waste your hate on someone who does know of your existence. Yes, there are quite a few emotionally disturbed young people on this site. I would recommend they see a family counselor about anger management. But, anger is a learned behavior. When young kids or teens have problems with anger, they have learned it from adults. Adults who put them down the same way they are putting down Vanessa and Zac. Usually it is their parents or primary care giver. So, the family needs to understand they have a problem and seek counseling together.
