Jessica Alba Gets GLAAD

Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren attend the annual dance at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on Thursday evening (March 26).

The 27-year-old Fantastic actress recently signed on to present at the 2009 GLAAD Media Awards next month in Los Angeles. Sascha Baron Cohen will also present at the gala which presents awards for fair and inclusive coverage of gay and lesbian issues. Kathy Griffin will be honored at the evening’s festivities.

Can someone please explain the glaad logo to me? I’ve found just the meaning of abbreviation: Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation… If it’s so, I’m really surprised that she’s supporting them…
