Loved the candid picture of Zac and Vanessa sitting in the audience where Zac has his arm around her. I also LOVE the fact that you comment with this picture came directly after crazy Kelly—does anyone still want to believe ANYTHING this girl says?—who says they broke up… ah, poetic justice.

And as others have pointed out this is a KIDS awards show. It is not the Oscars or the Golden Globes, etc. They have been seen dressed so formally in the past few months that I think they just wanted to be like any other young person and be comfortable for the night. My point is almost NOBODY was what I would consider “dressed up” for this event. Why would they be? All through the evening Dwayne Johnson was trying to figure out a way to “unlock” a “slime spewing volcano” with the intention of spraying as many as people as possible. Which is a tradition on this awards show.

So just think for a minute you’re a celebrity whose going to an awards show that is thrown by a network that caters exclusively to kids that traditionally sprays the audience and celebrities with green slime. Do you a) wear a tux and gown by Vercace
B) An expensively tailored business suit and pants suit (for a woman)
C) Just dress as casually and comfortably as possible.

I’m so exited for Vanessa and the rest of the cast, congratulations to all of them. I loved Vanessa’s speech, you could really tell that she appreciated everyone that voted for her and that the award meant a lot to her.

I think that they all looked great, I actually loved what Vanessa wore, not many people could pull it of but Vanessa can. I think she looked very sexy and grown-up at the same time as she looked really casual and great for the occasion, she’s showing that she’s growing up and I think/hope that maybe this look could hint that she’s preparing for maybe a more grown-up role (‘Sucker Punch’/’Dead @ 17 or something), it doesn’t have to be that way but one can hope. I wish that someone would have asked her about it and I do wonder when/if Jared’s interview with Vanessa, Zac and Stella will be posted.

How exactly does winning a KCA reflect you as an actor? I mean, Will Smith have won an Oscar and he also won male actor last night, does that mean that he suddenly became a bad actor, or what’s some of your logic? I’m not saying that Vanessa might win a bigger award right now, but you never know what’s going to happened in the future and you really shouldn’t judge her yet, especially not when some pretty big and impressive people have said that they want her in their movies. Only time will tell what’s going to happened in the future and keep it be up to those who knows these things to decide, and stop pretending that anything you say actually matters in the question.

Lovin’ all the pics coming out from the awards, and ecstatic for Vanessa and the HSM cast. Like Reenuh said above, both these awards were for FAVORITE actress and movie, not critically the best. That tells you what a wide fan base they have, and how supportive they are.

There is a reason they have such a wide international fan base. They touched the hearts and lives of SO many around the world with their fun, cheesy, lighthearted movie. No, it was not for everyone. But, tons of us loved it, and this was our way of showing our APPRECIATION by voting for them.
