Suri Cruise Hears No Evil
Suri Cruise covers her ears as her mom, Katie Holmes takes her to Le Pain Quotidien restaurant for lunch in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 29).
The 2-year-old seemed a bit shy as the pair walked from the car to the restaurant.
Looks like Le Pain Quotidien is one of Katie and Suri’s favorite bakeries as of late! Check out their menu!

why should they hide etc. why can’t they go out and shop and do whatever. it’s the camera hawks yelling at them that scare the heck out of the poor child and make her cover her ears and hide. And it’s no shock that Katie carries her given cars etc. it’s easier than hauling around a stroller like ‘normal’ parents do. if I was Katie I’d have security guards with me if only cause one day some nutcase is going to try to steal that child to get blood and prove all the stupid “katie was forced into being impregnated with frozen sperm from L Ron Hubbard” stories. ya know cause Tom is really gay and just hired Katie to be his beard in exchange for helping her failing acting career.

Tom Cruise’s Valkyrie last December was a surprise hit and he’s been offered many roles since then, #120. Katie Holmes’ play was a hit on Broadway and she recently got a modeling gig.

She’s not subjecting her to anything, #122. She’s walking from one place to another in public. They’re being stalked because they’re famous. And whenever they go anywhere and are photographed, they’re accused of calling the paparazzi.

Valkyrie was not a hit. It was a mediocre film that will hardly break even. Katies play was not a hit either. And check this out.

Just wondering because Shiloh Jolie Pitt are being photographed and chased by so many paps but I never see any pictures of her covering her ears nor hiding her face like what Suri is doing…MAYBE, THAT’S THE REASON WHY THEY JUST LET HER BANGS GROW TO HIDE HER FACE!
Seems that there is something wrong with the way they raise her….Of course, everyone knows that her parents are one of the most famous people on earth so they shld be training Suri on how she should behave when she’s out…instead of her hiding and covering, teach her how to smile and wave to the people…

Yes, The mother brings the child into that scene, willingly, and is bypassing the fact that it causes Suri anxiety and she has to cover her ears and hide in order to cope with it. So Katie IS subjecting her to the paps despite the child’s protest. This is no longer an argument . It is about the protection of a 2 year old. Not whether someone likes them or not, or their clothes etc. People on this blog, myself included can’t understand how a mother’s priority isn’t on keeping the child out of that chaos. Unless it is something that they as parents have decided Suri will just have to get use to. And that is a whole other can of worms. And you have to accept the fact that this creates bad press every time Suri is photographed like this. And this blog is just a little taste of that. If the Cruise’s were truly smart, they’d let her grow up a little more so they can shield her from the bad press and snarky comments written about her. She is just a child and it is up to the parents to protect her, physically, mentally and emotionally. It’s hard to look at photos like this and people have a strong reaction to it. You’d think the parents would take more responsibility.
Blue: I agree with you. Based on my observations of the Cruises
and Katie’s time in New York she is DEFINITELY trying to get Suri
used to the fans, looky loos, and the paparazzi. Remember after
every performance of All My Sons, Katie would come out and sign
autographs for the waiting fans. Many times she would be carrying
Suri with her as she signed autographs. What does this tell you?
Katie and Cruise want Suri to get used to this. It was NOT necessary
for Katie to expose Suri to this because one of the bodyguards could
have put Suri in the SUV while Katie signed autographs to her heart’s
delight but Katie wanted Suri in the photos, she wanted Suri exposed
to the fans, the press, etc. I honestly don’t “get it” how they could do
this to her. I really believe Cruise is behind this and Katie is going
along with it because Suri is her daughter and if Suri is exposed so
will Katie.
Cruise, Katie, and the Church of Scientology have plans for Suri and
a lot of their plans include turning Suri into a cash cow. Yes, that
sounds strong but its true. And clearly Suri is REJECTING this idea
because more and more she is cowering her face into her mother’s
chest.
One more thing, I don’t think Cruise or Katie have anything coming
out this year 2009 and so they have to go out to stay in the news
and we all know Suri is a paparazzi magnet. So far her pictures
sell magazines and so the paps are trying to take pictures of her
to sell to the rags. The Cruises are trying to get their pictures taken
to stay relevant or in the news. Its a win win situation for the Cruises
and the paparazzi EXCEPT for Suri Cruise. She’s the one that is
not enjoying this but that does’t seem to matter to Katie or Cruise.
Look at Lindsey Lohan, once a talented actress (The Parent Trap,
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen) and now what? She is
selling leggings to earn a buck. Nothing wrong with that but that
is a far cry from where she was once headed. She had a promising
career and now goes out to buy coffee, have lunch, escort her girlfriend Sam to her DJ gigs, etc., so she can get her picture taken
and stay in the news. Its very sad what has happened to her.
I think it will be very hard on people like Cruise, Lindsey Lohan,
Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, etc., when the press is no longer
clammering to take their pictures. These celebrities LOVE the
attention especially Cruise. I think his career has changed and
his glory days are behind him. That’s must be very hard for him
to deal with.

They know they’re good parents, #136. They don’t care about what other people think. They know that they haven’t done anything wrong unless going outside in public when you’re famous is wrong.
Make up your mind, #138! You already accuse them of taking their daughter out only when they have something to promote. Now when they don’t, you find some other reason as to why these people are going about their lives in public.

To Blah, Blah, Blah, quit yawning. You know I’m right! Everyone has an opinion and I agree when someone nails it. Picking on an innocent child is incomprehensible and unneccessary. Suri has NOT asked for any of these hateful and slamming comments that have been forced upon her during her short almost 3 years of life.
We can’t say that if we were in Katie’s shoes, what we would do differently. And DON’T say EVERYTHING. It is easy to say that, but when circumstances change, often, we do also. I’m NOT picking on you at all, BLAH, BLAH. I’m just trying to get everyone to quit judging Katie when they have no idea what goes on behind the scenes, so to speak. Enjoy your day.
