It’s too bad some of the people on here can’t understand what you are saying. I think having to “bite the bullet” is even more a necessity in Hollywood, meaning sometimes the celebrities have to do things they really prefer not to do. Ashley may have gotten roped into this Perez thing simply because she is getting ready to promote her new CD. Some people will not understand that and be angry but on the other hand these celebrities have to promote themselves. It is their JOB. It may be a foreign concept to us normal working class people but it is part of how they survive in their type world. It is the name of the game.

Plus, I can see Zac sending that bottle of champagne—and it is not because he likes the guy or what he says. It’s more of a “in your face” type thing or “say what you like” you are not getting some rude reply from me to get more attention or so you can come up with some other nasty things to say. To me, it is always Zac who looks like the better person as everyone knows Perez’s only motive is to get attention and become more famous and live off other people since he has no real talent. Some people just like nastiness. Think about it, IF Zac actually tried to stop Perez’s words then Perez would only get more attention and make Zac look petty or like he can’t take the heat. Then people would be saying if he can’t take this kind of stuff then he is in the wrong business, etc. I’m sure Zac doesn’t like what Perez says but he is not going to give Perez the satisfaction knowing that if he pushes even harder he might get some negative reaction from Zac.

On the other hand, I’m sure they all had a better time at Beso’s with real friends. They look great. The paps sunk to a new low with their nasty conduct. It really is disturbing that they can get away with anything. Seriously, is it OK to throw things at people now? I just don’t get it. I’m sure Zac laughed it off, because he’s desensitized to their antics, and doesn’t want to lose his cool. Good for him. That was true class and great poise on his part.

I think we make this a big deal when it shouldn’t be. Obviously Vanessa does not lose sleep over Perez and what he writes so I don’t get why we should give him attention. He’s highly overrated and is celebrated only in the tabloid blogs (E!, LA dishrag etc). He doesn’t matter in the industry and I find it’s tween populated blogs that rate him highly. He does not matter where it really counts.

I think both Zac and Vanessa are aware of this and surely do not take him seriously. What does it cost to send a bottle of champagne to an attention seeking blogger who has a crush on you? nothing!
Zac could easily do the same for a fan. It’s probably his publicist or assistant that sent it. I’m sure Zac couldn’t say what brand of Champagne that was. He can afford to be gracious without it costing him anything. I don’t see what else he could do without coming across as petty.
Vanessa for sure, knew about this but couldn’t care less as we can see from the KCA and Beso pics. She’s out having a good time with her boyfriend and close friends after winning an award for favorite movie actress.

In my opinion, for either of them to address PH’s hate on Vanessa is to say that his barbs are hitting home. I personally don’t want them to give him that attention or satisfaction. He’s not worth it. You don’t see any established or respected actor calling out bloggers that attack their partners or that attack them. They don’t give them the time of day. That would be descending too low and not classy.
The way they pretend they don’t know about it while Zac can be condescending to him is the classy way to deal with him. The implication is that his opinion does not mean anything to them, they can afford to ignore it.

The stupid fool is blubbering while Zac is spending time with those he really wants to be with, the message is clear, he is like the clamoring peasant you brush off with a little gift to keep him happy while you go about your business with those on your level that you really care about, so I don’t really get why it’s an issue.

Zac and Vanessa are not reality stars, they don’t need Perez. In fact, he’s played all his cards with Vanessa and he hasn’t affected her standing in the industry or ability to win awards.
Whether he keeps on abusing her or stops would not change anything about her career prospects or her personal life. To them, he is just a random blogger who has a crush on Zac, it’s only polite for Zac to send him a bottle on his birthday especially as I’m sure he was invited.

This is a situation where lack of class is being responded to with class and the difference couldn’t be clearer.

BTW, the fact that he completely missed the impersonal sarcasm and disdain in that note is a tribute to his IQ.

Personally I think she should get some help. Clearly you don’t live in LA or California. These people create personas and are often not at all what they appear. AND AGAIN BOTH ZE & VH NEED TO BE PUBLICLY ASKS WHAT THEY DID TO A CERTAIN WOMAN.

Not only do I live in LA half the year BUT my husband is rather well known in the industry (something I’ve never admitted on any board and he’s going to kill me for saying that but your post is beyond the pale ) . So I can say with complete faith that you and Steve need help and need to go somewhere where you can be believed.

Next time pick a site where there are NO INDUSTRY people at all.
