Empire magazine in their current issue are giving readers a rundown of hot new talents to watch out for in 2009, and of course there are some Bast*rds among them. First up, Mélanie Laurent, the real star of Inglourious Bast*rds. [Sidebar: This is not a putdown of Brad....Melanie plays the main character in the movie]. Empire writes:

“It’s typical of Tarantino to defy nethead demands and cast a relative unknown in the key role of the Nazi-slaying cinema owner Shosanna Dreyfus in Inglorious Bast*rds. Laurent has form in France: she won a César for Don’t Worry, I’m Fine, and was impressive alongside Juliettte Binoche in Paris, though we bet QT spotted her lead in grim Silence Of The Lambs-alike Room Of Death. Next up, Michael Fassbender, playing a very Tarantinoesque character (a film geek) in Bast*rds, and also the character closest to that of Mike Myers. Empire writes “…Inglourious Bast*rds sees the German-born Irish-raised actor play a British Officer for Mr. Quentin Tarantino. Expect him to kill.” And last but not least they have Mary Elizabeth Winstead, everyone’s favorite new cheerleader from Death Proof: “Tarantino’s eye for can-do women picked her out for Death Proof, and now she’s Michael Cera’s objet désir in Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim. Has grace, does comedy: got legs.“

I love the Jolie-Pitt and I do hope that the tabloid about them separating is not true.

i agree. real fans don’t even think about them breaking -up.

I used to be a tabloid junky but not anymore. I don’t even have the urge to read them even in the checkout because most of it is bs anyhow. I adore the JP and when tabloids spew such hatred against such a very lovely family it makes me sick. Not often do you see such a close loving and dedicated family giving thier best effort to make it work against all odds. They’d rather focus on how to ruin this family for sales since they are all going bankrupt anyhow.

You know JJ is just scratching his head wondering why all these pathetic jen hags waste thier time posting under different names all the time instead of using just one and sticking to it. I guess it takes alot of dedication to being a simpleton these days. As long as JJ is getting all the hits he’s not complaining.

Andrew I don’t know why JJ doesn’t monitor his site more as you apparently do with yours. Kinda makes me think he really doesn’t give a shite as long as people are posting and he’s getting the money. Guess if this were about any of his family members he wouldn’t appreciate the foul negative sick post, or especially about him. He’d delete those for sure. Not sure if he has a second job or what but most the time it’s a free for all.
