Gisele Bundchen graces the May 2009 cover of Vanity Fair. Here’s what the 28-year-old Brazilian beauty opened up about:
On being compatible with Tom Brady: “He’s very close to his family. He’s Catholic. His parents have been married 40 years. He’s got a pure heart. That’s all that matters – he’s got the purest heart. I feel grateful because I have a lot of love in my life. I found the person I’m sharing my life with. I have a good man.”
On Tom’s love child with Bridget Moynahan (John Edward Thomas Moynahan): “It was definitely a surprise for both of us. In the beginning you’re living this romantic fantasy; you’re thinking, This can’t be true, it’s so good! And then, Whoops – wake-up call! , [I]t was a very challenging situation. Obviously, in the beginning, it’s not the ideal thing.”
On doubts arising from her and Tom’s relationship: “You question at times – ‘Should I stay here? Maybe you should work this out.’ But when people break up, it’s for a reason. [Dealing with baby John] was a blessing, because otherwise I don’t think I would have known what he was made of, and he wouldn’t have known what I was made of. [I love Tom's integrity and] the way he was a good person through all the times. I was like, You have the heart in a good place! It made me feel more in love with him; it made me realize who he was.”

you hardly see the boy with his own mother, how do you or anyone else for that matter know that he’s also not often with his father just not pictured? it truly amuses and amazes me how b/c we don’t see pictures of him with his son often, he is a horrible father that never ever saw him till recently…yeah i guess b/c you don’t see pictures of my son and his father in the tabloids he’s a horrible father too…get real. Thank god that little boy has 3 people who love him. And a question b/c you don’t happen to see photographs does that mean its not happening?
Doesn’t Harper’s Bazaar already have this transgendered, ah, female on its cover? They need new models to put on their covers. It’s the SAME people over and again.
Dabu, you took what I said out of context. I stated my opinion on how she kinda went too far in her “wordage”. I think its great she loves that little boy and that she thinks of him as her own. Thats great because thats not always the case for step parents and step children. Just the way she said, “100% mind” is a little too far taken, especially since he isnt hers. lol

if you’ve read the article all 4 pages which was actually a wonderful
interview VF never fails to deliver each time.. you’ll know what a wonderful person Gisele seems.
She loves helping people and the environment.
She ever praises Leo and says she admires him. She talks about what a wonderful boy her step son is .. NOT that it’s hers 100% but she feels like it .. Showing that she’s treating that little boy that she didn’t deliver the same amount of love as the mother.
She’s a happily married woman who’s absolutely beautiful.. I don’t think there’s such thing as ‘most beautiful woman on this earth’ because beauty is subjective to everyone.. but you can’t deny she is stunning
I liked this quote from her a lot.

Initially I too was taken aback by her comment on baby John, but yanno, how lucky is this little boy that he has three loving parental figures in his life.
What’s the alternative? That she resents the kid? Partially loves him?
I would tend to think that even Bridget…after some initial selfish feelings, would have to agree that her son is very fortunate to have such a loving step-mom.

Some people here either are foreign or did not do well in english at school - I feel as though all of us did not read the same article - here is exactly what Gisele said:
“I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent,” Gisele says. “I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that’s important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day.”
Tom is a Catholic - yeah right! Practicing Catholics don’t have sex outside of marriage, don’t use birth control and they sure as hell don’t have babies outside of marriage. He may be Catholic by word of mouth - but seriously, when was the last time he followed the guidelines of the Church> He’s not a Catholic - he’s a hypocrite.

What a…! You BET dear little Tom should have man up and tried again with the mother of his child instead of leaving her pregnant and alone!!! He didn’t even try! He stayed with his model, and she of course was completely ok with him not leaving her! She’s kind of a homewrecker to me, because she stopped a family to reunite.

Ham, I’m catholic and like 90% of Brazil is catholic and I can guarantee you Kate, that not all of them follow these rules- no sex outside marriage, no birth control, etc- and thank god for that! If no one used birth control there would be a hell lot more of babies outside of marriage!

So sick of this piece of trash. She poses naked in these pics and talks about a child that is not hers in this way. She got the loser deadbeat Brady why did this W*hore have to open her hole? I ‘ll tell you why she’s trying to cause trouble, she may be hard to understand but she knows exactly what she’s doing.
I can say that Gisele has the most beautiful/perfect body in the world but her face? …not so much.
Even Nicole Miller said Gisele wasn’t anything special but it was the way she carried herself on the cat walk which made her such a spectacular model. I think people take it too far when they say she’s sooooo beautiful. Her face doesn’t appeal to me at all but her body is definitely enviable.

I have no problem with a stepparent feeling maternal towards their stepchild, but her statement seems a bit out of order. I mean, the baby doesn’t even have Tom’s last name, a deliberate action taken by Bridget, and it’s almost like Gisele thinks that the baby is John Edward Thomas Moynahan Bundchen.

Again, it’s great that Gisele seems to have love for the boy, but she’s coming across as presumptuous. And there’s also a danger of interpreting her love for this little boy as only contingent if she can control how she feels about the baby and his mother on any given day.

But then again, maybe Bennetts is, yet again, trying to start a catfight between higher profile women, so she can make her rounds on the entertainment shows.

Gislut knows exactly what she said and what she’s doing. Connect the dots bimbo - JACK is a sweet kid because of how he’s being raised and for that this evil step Ho can thank the childs mom for both having him when deadbeat hubby wanted nothing to do with the kid and for raising him for the first part of his life by his mom when his Father was too busy walking your dog. Giving the actual mom credit and stating the situation was difficult for all but worked through it and all are lucky to have Jack, would have been the class act thing to do but no Gislut while posing with no clothes on had to use this to start this crap up again. She has an ax to grind but it’s going to backfire because no one is buying her Holy Step Mom rountine and the paps love to bother them both.
