Chace Crawford is a Trip-Taker

Now Jade, you know if you saw Zac in another musical, you’d complain about it…Zac was originally tied to the role for months, and then a better option in which he was looking for came his way…
I don’t know the caliber of Chace’s acting, he’ll probably do well.

Zac was stupid to let Footloose go as that would have been his first lead role in a musical….

It’s hard to picture Chace dancing in a movie like Footloose. He does seem like the kind of guy though that would do a great job. When you hear him talk about movies or acting, he obviously cares a great deal for it. :)

Why do I have the feeling that the “source” leaking all this is Chace’s manager or publicist?

I wish him well but I really doubt he’s got the acting and dancing chops for the role. It’d be a great opportunity for him to surprise people though because based on GG most people assume he just gets by on his looks.

Zac Efron’s stupidity (or maybe his big head) is Chase Crawford’s stroke of luck! I think he will be excellent in the role and I personally am dying to see the make-over of FOOTLOOSE.

Chase just has a more grown-up look then Efron and he will heat up the screen I’m sure.

downgrade for sure, although i’m glad zac got out of that potential trainwreck of a movie. remaking classics is hardly ever a good idea, as chace will surely find out. he’s definitely no kevin bacon.

I am actually disgusted with Efron for his attitude and big head…who does he think he is… does he honestly believe that he will still have a career in 10 years…his actions show that his head is getting bigger, letting go of big opportunities and thinks that he can make a go of a career outisde musicals…
