Orlando Bloom is all Thai-ed Up
Orlando Bloom and a female friend have an early dinner at a Thai restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 29).
The 32-year-old actor is close to joining the Main Street project, one of Horton Foote’s last works.
Orly will be joining a cast that already includes: Ellen Burstyn, Patricia Clarkson, Colin Firth and Andrew McCarthy.
The drama takes plays in a small town in North Carolina where a stranger arrives and the town is changed. O will play a policeman in the town.

And how do you “know” Miranda was upset? Have you talked to her? How do you “know” he took those girls “straight to a hotel?” How do you “know” they weren’t just some friends he knew in London? Why do you automatically assume the worst (i.e. that he had “sex” with said women) when there’s nothing to prove anything of the sort? So many claims of ‘fact’ that aren’t really ‘facts’ at all.
Oh, grow up. It is possible to have friends of the opposite sex, you know. Or are you going to demand that your boyfriend/husband abandon all of his female friends? How juvenile.
You are jumping to many conclusions…to follow the tradition I guess. You don’t know where they went or who those women were.
I personally wouldn’t be upset if I knew my boyfriend’s shared a cab with some women, especially if he did it in front of the paps. You know, unfaithful people tend to try to not get their “illicit” activities published in lots of magazines.
It’s not my place to tell anyone what should or shouldn’t upset them. BUT if she’s upset please tell me how the hell is that your problem.
It’s my problem because I am one of her biggest fans! SHE DESERVES BETTER! You all go back and forth fighting over him and making excuses for him when he was clearly being a cad. She is the bigger star! She don’t need him anyways! MIRANDA IS SO BEAUTIFUL! GO MIRANDA!!!

I like Miranda, and all. But that statement HAS to be an April Fool’s joke. It is, isn’t it? Right?
Let’s compare….
Miranda: Reasonably successful as a model, and hit it big with VS, but still not well known, even in the US where VS is based. She seems to be doing very well with them, though. She was just featured on ANOTHER cover, introducing a new bra, and is well liked by the corporation and by their customers. She will only become better known as time goes by.
Orlando: Hit it BIG the first time at bat. LOTR, and Pirates. Two of the biggest trilogies in the history of filmaking, each earning over a BILLION dollars at the box office. He is known worldwide, and is the heartthrob to millions. He has a face so recognizable that he was paid more than Brad Pitt for commercials he did in Japan. Even after being out of the limelight for over a year, he is still a star.
Miranda is NOT the bigger star. Not by a long shot. (even though I like her)
Of course Orlando is the bigger star.
But what I don’t understand is if people are fans of either, why not just be happy that their happy being together?
Surely if your a fan you respect their choices because at the end of the day it’s nobodies business but theirs in how they live their life.

By chance are you fat? You must be because only the fatties think someone so easily forgettable is all that! Both of those movies you named made all that money because he played smaller bit parts to bigger and famous stars. Even without him, those movies still would have made a ton of money. At least Miranda got VS on her own. She IS the bigger star! MIRANDA RULES!
As her fan also, i can understand your animosity towards bloom or their relationship.
But mind you, miranda can always say no or it’s over if she really wants to, considering that bloom is cheating around. Yet she opted to stay with that relationship (not sure about their status now), so as much as i want to pity her, i kind of changed my mind cause she tolerates all these BS.

Dear, it’s not the place to argue about bloom cause some fans are just so jaded to accept criticisms, and they always want to have the last word here like who won the tug of war game LOL
And if you hate their relationship, support only miranda, simple as that. Anyways imo, the entertainment industry/hollywood knows how bloom is like in relationships and as an actor. I don’t need to say more

LOL! Guess you’re just as ‘rabid’ a fan of Miranda as many seem to be of Orlando. Personally, I like them both and think they’re adorable together as a couple. But honestly, who really cares who’s more famous? He’s probably better known but she’s doing very well for herself as a model - AND she’s certainly beautiful.

You might want to get a new model to talk about. Doutzen will be left modeling for Walmart if she gains any more weight. VS chose Miranda to be the face of not only the new perfume, but also their new bra. She has had two VS covers in the last month. Where is your girl Doutzen? Orlando is a star around the globe. Miranda isn’t well known anywhere. She is getting bigger, but Orlando is the BIG name in the relationship. Saying anything else just makes you sound incredibly stupid.
I know it’s not the right thread to talk about models, but i just want to respond to your comment about doutzen…
Regarding her body figure, at least she’s honest enough to admit that she got turned down by versace because of her size and she can’t compete with other slim runway models cause her body simply isn’t like that. And there seems to be no problem with VS about her body, so is with CK that they resigned her again for another 3 years.
Doutzen is my top fave model and i don’t want to make comparisons between her and miranda(i also like her). But really doutzen is the more successful one and her credentials speak for it. And imo, it’s also a bonus if your fave is a really nice person in and out.

Don’t be fooled, they’re just trying to get Orlando and Miranda fans to FIGHT WITH EACH OTHER over made up who is a bigger star crap……don’t buy into their BS, they can’t stand that Orlando and Miranda are together and happy.
He was offererd the part, but turned it down (no matter what the Jake fans say). In one (shallow) respect I would have liked him to take the role. We would have had a chance to see his bare chest in three movies! Plus he would have made a ton of money. But I’m really glad that he isn’t going down that road. He is doing smaller, more character driven films that will increase his range, and his longevity. And he certainly doesn’t need the money.
I do wonder why they pushed ‘Prince of Persia’ back a year. Were they having production trouble? Or are they just trying to fix Jake’s action scenes?
I’m looking forward to seeing Main Street, but I’m getting really excited about The Cross. I love Sci-Fi. Good Sci-Fi, anyway.

I see, you don’t need proof to say that Orlando cheated on Miranda but you need it to be able to say that the role in POP was never offered to him. How convenient.
To show you the difference between us Orlando fans and you, no Orlando wasn’t offered that role. There was a survey on the Internet to know who did people want in that role and apparently Orlando got the biggest number of votes, that’s where the rumour came from.
He did, however, turn another blockbuster down: Pompeii, with Roman Polanski as the director. Both Orlando and Scarlett Johansson turned it down and finally Polanski left the project as well.
I agree with 145 by the way, I have nothing against Jake but he’s never been a physical actor like Orlando, he looks nothing like the Prince of Persia and that first picture of him in costume with that stupid expression is ridiculous.
What I find so offensive about the Delphi loonies is the way they continually insult Miranda and her family.

The reason I dislike most Miranda fans is because they all pretty much claim that anyone who doesn’t like her of being a hater or loony or claim that they are just jealous. Is it not possible for people to dislike her without being accused of being any of the above. I for one dislike Miranda for her actions and the way she so eagerly uses others to climb the ladder to fame. I know I don’t know her but neither do a lot of you who pretty much worship her. Just because I happen not to agree with the things she does does not in any way make me a hater. If you want to like her and think she is a wonderful person that is fine by me, because I am in no way trying to change anyones opinion. But please stop accusing anyone who dislikes Miranda of just being haters, because everyone is entitled to their opinion whether you like it or not.

No everyone is entitled to their opinion, people who like Miranda and people who don’t. I guess I am just tired of being considered a jealous hater when I am neither. I don’t consider you a delusional shipper, just someone with a opinion different than mine, and that is all right.
