well, the dress is pretty, but it’s true that everybody and their mama is dresed warmer than her. Maybe the dress is too pretty to ruin it matching it with nice shoes and (the horror!) some cute socks.

let me tell you something people, first hand:
I have a friend who I’ve begged not to get involved in Scientology. She listened to the point that she was just reading some materials online out of curiosity. There are a Volunteer Scientology Minister Free Courses online. She said you have to read and than send your answers in order to see I’ve you learned it all ok.
They got a hold of her in some point and told her that she is doing great with her study, and there is such a wonderful life ahead of her but to be sure that this will happen she had to buy ALL of the books by LRH for… $ 4000! Right NOW!
She couldn’t get off the phone with them for 30 minutes - they were very pushy and persuasive. She finally hung up on them and that was her experience with Scientology!

# 34. I have to agree. It does seem a little small for her and too short for a tall 3 year old. Normally when young girls wear short dresses they wear bloomers or tights or leggings. Suri looks so exposed in that short dress. I don’t usually complain about what she wears but it seems the mothers awareness is not there. And she dresses herself warmly but not the child? Everyone in the pink dress photos are completely covered and there’s little Suri in a thin short party dress. The post says the photo is from today. Well, I took my son outside this afternoon for a walk here in LA and he was wearing long pants, socks, shoes, a t-shirt and a jacket. While in his stroller he was also covered in a light blanket as there is a pretty sharp breeze out today.

As much as I think kids are off limits to insults and whatnot-Katie exposes that child so much that she leaves the poor kid open for discussion; be it her hair or the clothes she wears, etc etc…
There are many ways to avoid all the chaos and paparazzi attention she attracts but I guess you have to be really overprotective and determined to figure out solutions on keeping your child out of the public eye (and out of the eyes of child molesters-the internet is the one thing “normal” people and “sick” people have in common).
I personally think Katie feels obligated to make sure Suri keeps her “most fashionable child in hollywood” title intact since so many people have great expectations from her and that’s why she’s turned that kid into an accessory.

I don’t hate the family, but they are a freak show because TomKat has made themselves into one.
There are plenty of ways to move around LA without getting photographed constantly and they know it. But instead they pimp out their kid constantly because they are both drunk on publicity.
You know we have not seen the Brange kids for awhile yet I bet they are happy and doing well. When the Kennedy kids and the Wills and Harry were growing up we didn’t see them constantly in mags and papers etc., did we? Yet all four of those kids appear to be fine having lived most of their lives out of the spotlight. If Diana, Princess of Wales, and Jackie O could find ways to give their children normal lives away from the paps (who were much more voracious with Diana than TomKat) then I certainly think TomKat could use their combined IQ’s to come up with ways to protect this child from this onslaught yet still give her as normal of a childhood as John Jr., Carolyn, William and Harry had.
It doesn’t matter if you’re Hollywood or Suburbia, USA. A parent with an ounce of common sense would

The dress is too short on Suri. I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl and I make sure her dresses always hit below her knees. Shorts or skorts are another thing–skorts or skirts usually have the built in panty cover.
Katie could go to Gymboree and spend $100 and dress Suri way cuter than that.

THE POINT IS: Katie’s pr with the public is BAD! And if she doesn’t become aware of what people say about her and try to fix it then her career will suffer. I believe it already has. Hollywood is a popularity contest. Actors MUST HAVE FANS and be willing to spend money on their films. Her films do not do well. And her broadway thing got good and bad reviews.
