Katie Holmes takes daughter Suri, 2, to the the American Girl store in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 1).

Katie, 30, wore a stylish pair of Current/Elliot jeans with studded pockets and toted around her favorite Parker Large Convertible Hippie Bag by Coach.

What a homely mess. The cankle queen looks craptastic as usual. JJ loves this freak show of a family. Sourpuss’s dress is too short. And if it’s windy, the dress and flip flops are totally inappropriate. Homely is a horrible mother.

The dress is cute, but it needs to be about an inch or two longer. I think that kids should only wear flip flops at the pool at her age. I think they trip and fall over their own feet at her age when they wear them out in public. I think that Croc with a strap would be better for her age.

Looking at the different photos of Suri over this last year, I believe Suri is for lack of better term, Retarded. This is why Katie keeps referring to her as “very special”.
Why is this child always underdressed? Its bizarre like that barley water nonsense they (Scientologists) feel is so healthy for their children.

The dress looks a little too fitting, its probably not the right size for Suri which may explain why the dress looks a little off/ too short. The flip flops does not go with the dress, the grey shoes she had the other day would be a better fit. She will look complete instead of looking out of place.

Where is Tom lately??? He never is with them anymore, odd. Haven’t heard that he is working, so maybe he has gone in for more nip-tuck surgery or he’s busy with Sci meeting. Katie looks so depressed and she has no sense of style (yet she thinks she does, hilarious). I truly believe that Suri is older than they are saying.
Katie feels obligated to make sure Suri keeps her “most fashionable child in hollywood” title intact since so many people have great expectations from her and that’s why she’s turned that kid into an accessory.

What’s awkward about Suri’s dress isn’t the dress at all. It’s that she’s wearing them with flip flops instead of 5 inch heels.
Suri’s cute, but do agree that Katie dresses her like a miniature adult instead of a child.

I don’t hate the family, but they are a freak show because TomKat has made themselves into one.
There are plenty of ways to move around LA without getting photographed constantly and they know it. But instead they pimp out their kid constantly because they are both drunk on publicity.
You know we have not seen the Brange kids for awhile yet I bet they are happy and doing well. When the Kennedy kids and the Wills and Harry were growing up we didn’t see them constantly in mags and papers etc., did we? Yet all four of those kids appear to be fine having lived most of their lives out of the spotlight. If Diana, Princess of Wales, and Jackie O could find ways to give their children normal lives away from the paps (who were much more voracious with Diana than TomKat) then I certainly think TomKat could use their combined IQ’s to come up with ways to protect this child from this onslaught yet still give her as normal of a childhood as John Jr., Carolyn, William and Harry had.
It doesn’t matter if you’re Hollywood or Suburbia, USA. A parent with an ounce of common sense would
1) Not let their child put their shoes in their mouth
2) Dress their child appropriately–as in the clothes fit and are right for the weather
3) Not put a two year old in flip flops
The dress is too short on Suri. I have a 2 1/2 year old little girl and I make sure her dresses always hit below her knees. Shorts or skorts are another thing–skorts or skirts usually have the built in panty cover.
Katie could go to Gymboree and spend $100 and dress Suri way cuter than that.
But, it is the first time I’ve ever seen her wear pink.
