Brad Pitt is Lieutenant Aldo Raine

Compliments of Vanity Fair’s latest issue, Brad Pitt poses as the Nazi-hunting Lieutenant Aldo Raine at Studio Babelsberg, in Potsdam, Germany for his upcoming Quentin Taratino-directed flick, Inglourious Basterds.

Pictured below in group shot: From left, Melanie Laurent as Shosanna Dreyfus, Christopher Waltz as Colonel Hans Landa, Omar Doom as P.F.C. TOTN from NPR had an Interesting discussion today on international adoption. During the interview Isolde Motley, co-author of “You Can Adopt” and mother of one biological child and 2 adopted children (one from the US and the other from Ethiopia) brought up Angie’s adoption of Z and said she was appalled at the inaccurate reporting of Z’s adoption. She mentioned the false accusations and then said Angie went through the same process and wait time as everyone else. Here’s the link to the story. It won’t happen the way we expect it to? What I expect is they both get drunk and wake up in bed together nekkid the next morning with neither of them remembering exactly what happened…or something along the lines of “Oops…” What I don’t expect is for them to be honest with each other and jump each other’s bones. Angelina Jolie Rocks a Russian Hat

Angelina Jolie rocked a fur-trimmed poncho and matching Russian hat as she continued filming her upcoming spy thriller Salt in Staten Island, New York, on Tuesday.

It is the latest look for the actress, who must wear a lot of disguises for her role as Evelyn A. Salt, a rogue CIA operative trying to clear her name.

“She’s a character you never know,” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently told USA Today. “People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she’s in a disguise also may or may not … She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?”

Jolie has been shooting the action flick since February in both Washington D.C. and New York, where she is temporarily living with beau Brad Pitt and their six kids.

The film — which costars Liev Schreiber as her supervisor in the CIA’s Russia office — opens in 2010.
