Gwyneth Paltrow: The Last Empress
Gwyneth Paltrow and designer Valentino Garavani attend the premiere of his latest documentary, Valentino: The Last Emperor, at Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Bing Theatre on Wednesday (April 1) in Los Angeles.
The 36-year-old actress wore a fashion-forward pair of suede Christian Louboutin “Ariella Talon” ankle boots with multi-strapped leather buckles.

OMG I love these booties!! ……..but maybe it doesn’t fit the dress or Gwyneth? Anyway, they’re hot!
She really needs to lay off the fake tanner. It gives her a shake and bake look.
I love the soft gray color but the cut on that dress is very unflattering. It makes Gwyneth’s top half look boxy.

What a difference between Paltrow and Klum. Interesting juxtaposition between two women with general physical similarities. Klum usually rocks a beautiful classic style and is edgy when necessary, while Paltrow seems trapped in the perennial mindset of a teenage girl wearing Dakota Fanning’s cast offs.
Is Gwyneth wearing shoulder pads? That’s an 80’s trend I’d like to see go away……forever.
I’m not liking the look. The dress is ugly and her hair looks damaged.

For once, I like her makeup. It’s a pretty, sunkissed California girl look. The dress, however, is all wrong and looks tacky.

Those shoes don’t match that dress. They’re fantastic shoes but don’t match the style, drape, fabric or color of the dress. She is too self-conscious to be wearing that outfit IMO. The clothes and shoes are wearing her, she’s not wearing them which is the attitude and confidence you need to have to pull off an outfit like this.
I still have no clue why she’s considered anything close to fashionable when more often than not she slouches with bad posture while wearing clothes from these amazing designers and she often looks like she’s longing to tug at her clothes, like when she wears all of those mini-dresses. You have to own a mini-dress when you wear it. You can’t go half-way on it and expect for that type of style to work for you.
The heels and the dress don’t mesh well together. Gwyneth tries too hard to change her style, but it’s not her. If you’re not wearing what feels right to you it shows.
I don’t mind her hair and makeup so much, but I think the dress is a little too short and kind of ugly.
I think she’s ugly. Her features are very manish. Her hair is pretty, but that’s about it.
I see she’s back to the crazy, super short hemlines again. I knew the brief interlude of class would not last.

What a change that Gwyneth rarely gets her look right. When she has decent hair and makeup, she wears ugly gowns and heels. When she has a beautiful dress, her hair and makeup are often wrong. Too bad. I wish I could give her a makeover.
She looks like a drag queen in those pics, and her dress looks like it was made from ugly hotel drapes.

i dont think the look is tht bad. she looks nice and fresh. love the colour but the i never liked the cut of those dresses. dont like the boots either…gwyneth always has the craziest shoes.
For a pretty girl she sure knows how to look ugly. I don’t thing I have ever seen Gwyneth look good, she has zero fashion sense. You would think with all of her money she could hire a good stylist so she wouldn’t look so trashy all the time.

I agree with many of the posters. She has tried too hard to be a fashion icon. She does not know how to wear clothes. It always looks like a costume on her. She has poor posture and she does does not have the “attitude” for these outfits. I don’t particularly like her these days. I love her in several of her movies, but she has become a stuck up snot. She is not by any stretch of the imagination. She needs to tend more to her family, husband and career; instead of trying to impress the multitude.
