Orlando Bloom is a Hugo’s Hottie
Orlando Bloom and a pal grab lunch together at Hugo’s Restaurant in West Hollywood on Thursday (April 2).
The 32-year-old British actor is most likely headed to Durham. N.C., next month to shoot his new movie, Main Street. Tony Award winner John Doyle is directing the film.
Orly will play a small-town policeman, while former teen heartthrob Andrew McCarthy (St. Elmo’s Fire, Lipstick Jungle) will play a Lothario business manager. Looking forward to the new flick!

My understanding on what i’ve read at delphi was they somehow believe that it’s bloom himself or his pr team that do all these pap pics, and they also believe that miranda has her share, which i doubt.

Those aren’t “boobs.” They’re pecs. If you’d seen any of his shirtless set pix from “Sympathy for Delicious,” you’d know that he’s a fit ‘lean machine” without an ounce of excess padding on his slim but well-toned frame.

Have they seen each other since OZ papfest or not? Looks weird that they aren’t photographed together for almost two months now.
not bitter at all, pointing out the obvious which I know in your rabbithole of a fandom means anything less than blind adoration and hyperbole concerning St. Orlando equals hatred/bitterness/yawn. really you should push yourself away from the teaparty and go out into the real world sometime. Why are those who post here about Orlando Bloom always given the label of either a ‘bitter hater’ or a ‘blind worshipper’ who considers him to be ‘St. Orlando?’ There IS a middle ground. One can be a ‘fan’ and still not choose to blindly ‘worship’ or blindly ‘condemn’ him. Believe me, I’m well aware he has his faults. But I can also acknowledge the qualities I see about him that I think are positive and which (imo of course) outweigh the negative.. It needn’t be one extreme or the other. I prefer to accept that he has his share of ‘human frailties’ but I can also acknowledge that he’s no more of a ’sinner’ than he is a ’saint.’
I have some things to confess.
Sympathy for Delicious, Main Street and The Cross are not real projects, they only exist in our delusional minds.
People, Entertainment Weekly, US Weekly and other magazines never buy his pictures and that’s why Orlando has to beg crying to Their Majesties the paps to take pics of him frowning and walking alone.
Oh and as evidenced by these pictures he’s also fat, ugly and old. And bald.

I’d say the bitterness lies in some fans of a certain actor who are unable and/or unwilling to acknowledge some things about him that have become crystal clear to anyone with some degree of objectivity. My observations are not based on fantasy or hate; they’re based on looking back over a long period of time. They’re not snap judgments. Like the man or love the man all you want, see his films 15 times each, and be proud to be his fan(s), but don’t expect everyone else and everyone else to feel the same way about him or see him the same way. I certainly don’t expect everyone to automatically share MY personal views, but Bloom is NOT leading man material except in the minds of the female fans who’d like to bed him. The general movie going public and straight male members of the audience don’t consider him a leading male actor. And Hollywood producers, who most likely do NOT consider $208 million world wide gross to be an adequate return on a $100 million dollar investment epic, are not likely to take another major financial risk on him. Bloom will have to work his way up properly this time and prove himself. From my point of view, this commentary is not based on bitterness but on reality and an honest assessment of this man’s acting ability as shown thus far, and on his words versus his actions over the years.
And IMDB should be accurate with it’s world wide gross stats for motion pictures, even if it’s not always accurate in other areas regarding actors and films in production.
I have no problem with people disagreeing with me. But time has proven me right, and I’m still standing by my words. Labeling people and categorizing them seems pointless, but the bitterness seems to be in the fans who cannot accept certain realities about Bloom.
You got OWNED on the last thread, and now you are here trying to spread your bitterness.
What’s the matter? Why didn’t you have an answer to that last post? Are you regretting all of the time that you wasted trying to paint Orlando as a failure, only to provide concrete proof that he was more successful; than other more established actors?

I think that he looks fantastic! I am looking forward to Main Street, but I’m really excited about The Cross. I can’t wait for that one.
Also, It looks like Orlando is now in Durham. A fan got his picture with him at a Whole Foods market. The pic was blurry (cell phone), but you could tell that Orlando looked great. The kid was kinda cute, too.

Guess orlando doesn’t like girls who can be somehow considered very successful in their chosen career, and those who are nice, prim, unslutty, and those who opposed the idea of prancing their relationship all the time. See orlando likes his gf to be someone beneficial to his career, not someone who can take the attention off him. That’s my opinion and anyone who will disagree is very welcome.

Doutzen begun working for VS since 2005 but was absent during the 2007 show because she chose to be at her native country for she was awarded for her documentary works in Africa. (Since 2005, doutzen was already doing catalogs for VS and VS adamantly wanted her to be one of their contracted angels but she refused. I can say that doutzy knew the consequences of that and only decided to sign that contract when she felt that her career in highfashion is established enough to be tied to one brand that can help her career to be on the mainstream. See the girl is also clever but never uses anyone to get ahead. But heck, even until now she isn’t only identified or tied with VS like most models once they sign that big but hindering contract.)

Doutzen once quoted back in 2005 that she’s willing to bare if she knows that it’s for artistic purpose (don’t all models have?) Doutzen is not a saint (no one is) but how she carries herself is what i consider prim. Yes i admire her for always being grounded and professional since she started and i’m happy for where she is right now cause doutzen is a really nice person in and out. The girl never pretends and always tries to be honest.
Lastly, about the cigarette thing, you’re not implying about something else right? Cause if you are, doutzy never said that she doesn’t smoke which is really the truth.
Again, you are very welcome to disagree but there’s no denying that doutzen is a humble and nice girl(no need to explain why) and is now one of the elite models. (her LOREAL and CK contract have been both renewed and she replaced Teri Hatcher to be the face of Repeat for two years and the pricey 7 for Mankind Jeans, not sure about DeBeers.)

I came here to admire pics of the gorgeous Orlando Bloom. In an Orlando Bloom thread. That’s why I am here.
It’s cool that Doutzen is so wonderful, but Orlando said that finding a GF is not like buying a car. The success in her career might have nothing to do with what a man is looking for in a woman.
So Doutzen is nice and humble, good for her but maybe he prefers wild and complicated to nice and humble who knows? My point is that the reasons why a person likes another are personal.

I’m sorry, I like Doutzen, too, but you can’t blame that walk on VS.
The other girls didn’t walk like that. In fact, when you are wearing that little, your walk becomes even more important, because there isn’t anything to hide behind. Miranda’s walk is much more refined and elegant. Doutzen really needs to work on that. She is too pretty to look that big and clumsy.
I just saw Miranda’s new ad for VS in the latest People magazine. I guess that they are continuing to use her as the face of their ‘Dream Angels’ collection. She looks GORGEOUS in the photo.
Cute guy - but anyone ever notice how short and stubby his legs are? Wish they were LONGER! I find long, lean legs on a man to be really sexy. (I’ve noticed a lot of Brits, both male and female, tend to have legs like his - short and stocky when compared to overall body length. Another case in point: Keira Knightley - she has short stocky legs with a long “ultra-thin” torso.) LOL - A bit of inconsequential trivia, I know, but thought I’d mention it anyhow.
He does have a long torso, but his legs only look stubby because he wears his jeans so low.
Just remember those long gorgeous legs in the Elf costume. That is more his true body proportion.

JJ is not your place for there’s nothing controversial or worth fighting issue about boring doutzen.
Team adventurous and ****** miranda, continue to stay here cause she needs your support.
p.s. I also saw that behind the scenes commercial shoot of miranda for the new dream angels and i can say that her face looks a bit weird to me especially with that bushy eyebrows. Btw i also saw doutzen’s behind the scenes photoshoot for VSx, it’s a very new line for VS and she’s the face of it and i believe that she has also a new VS commercial coming out.
(LOL) Personally, I believe if the boy had been born with slightly longer legs he’d be 6′ or more - not just ‘pushing 5′10″ tall.’ It was hard to judge how long his legs really were in the Elf costume since it had such a long tunic. But be that as it may, I still think he looked gorgeous as the Elf!

I like Doutzen, and I understand why certain people keep bringing her up on an ORLANDO BLOOM thread.
I know that it’s the Miranda haters who keep trying to compare her unfavorably to Doutzen, but they just don’t get the fact that nothing Doutzen does (or did) will ever have any effect on whether Orlando keeps seeing Miranda. He evidently doesn’t care if Miranda has worked in high fashion. He evidently doesn’t care if she ever will. It simple doesn’t matter. People who like Miranda don’t care what Doutzen does, just as people who like Doutzen don’t care what Miranda does.
Miranda is the face of VS perfume, and of their Dream Angels bra line. Doutzen is the face of their work out clothes. Seems pretty balanced to me. The only difference would be that if the situation was reversed, the haters would be going on and on about how Miranda was the face of their “cheap line”, while Doutzen had a bra created for her, blah, blah, blah. That’s was their favorite argument when Miranda was the face of their Pink line. It was cheap, low class, etc. That is, until they made her an Angel and gave her other things to promote, then it was all “oh, they moved Miranda out because she wasn’t good enough to be the face of such an important line….”. *rollseyes*
The haters will always try to make Miranda look bad. But the fact remains that she is the one that Orlando chooses to be with. And that is really what ticks them off. If he had chosen Doutzen, SHE would be the one being raked over the coals, while Miranda was held up as an example of perfection. Any woman that he dates, doesn’t stand a chance with some of his “fans”. The ones who want to run his life will never be happy.
Not saying FORBES is not credible… but can someone back it up that miranda made that kind of money when clearly she wasn’t an official angel and DJ ambassador when that list came out (selita who was an official angel since 2005 managed only to be at 12th spot) and unlike most models on that list they have big multiple contracts (which include international campaigns and commercials) to back it up or make it more believable.
IMO that’s mainly the reason why some people keep on questioning most of her claims. They aren’t consistent at all.

Maybe her VS contract was more lucrative than Selita’s. She sure moved up in their ranks fast, so it is easy to believe that they really wanted her. Which means that they were willing to pay her more money. I know that the Forbes list frustrates a lot of her detractors. If they don’t believe her earnings, then they can’t flaunt the earnings of any of the other girls on the list. They want to claim that Miranda doesn’t make that much, but they can’t because then they would have to say that Doutzen didn’t make as much as they claim either. Poor haters.
