Doutzen begun working for VS since 2005 but was absent during the 2007 show because she chose to be at her native country for she was awarded for her documentary works in Africa. (Since 2005, doutzen was already doing catalogs for VS and VS adamantly wanted her to be one of their contracted angels but she refused. I can say that doutzy knew the consequences of that and only decided to sign that contract when she felt that her career in highfashion is established enough to be tied to one brand that can help her career to be on the mainstream. See the girl is also clever but never uses anyone to get ahead. But heck, even until now she isn’t only identified or tied with VS like most models once they sign that big but hindering contract.)

You’re referring to 2008 VS right? Most of her fans didn’t like her walk at that particular show as well but hey that’s VS. Clearly you never watched doutzen during her runway shows especially the one where she almost tripped but professionally recovered. Try to watch all her fashion shows compilation in youtube and tell me again if she walks like a lumberjack. (also watch her 2005/2006 VS)

Doutzen once quoted back in 2005 that she’s willing to bare if she knows that it’s for artistic purpose (don’t all models have?) Doutzen is not a saint (no one is) but how she carries herself is what i consider prim. Yes i admire her for always being grounded and professional since she started and i’m happy for where she is right now cause doutzen is a really nice person in and out. The girl never pretends and always tries to be honest.

Lastly, about the cigarette thing, you’re not implying about something else right? Cause if you are, doutzy never said that she doesn’t smoke which is really the truth.

Again, you are very welcome to disagree but there’s no denying that doutzen is a humble and nice girl(no need to explain why) and is now one of the elite models. (her LOREAL and CK contract have been both renewed and she replaced Teri Hatcher to be the face of Repeat for two years and the pricey 7 for Mankind Jeans, not sure about DeBeers.)

I’m sorry, I like Doutzen, too, but you can’t blame that walk on VS.
The other girls didn’t walk like that. In fact, when you are wearing that little, your walk becomes even more important, because there isn’t anything to hide behind. Miranda’s walk is much more refined and elegant. Doutzen really needs to work on that. She is too pretty to look that big and clumsy.
I just saw Miranda’s new ad for VS in the latest People magazine. I guess that they are continuing to use her as the face of their ‘Dream Angels’ collection. She looks GORGEOUS in the photo.

He does have a long torso, but his legs only look stubby because he wears his jeans so low.
Just remember those long gorgeous legs in the Elf costume. That is more his true body proportion.

(LOL) Personally, I believe if the boy had been born with slightly longer legs he’d be 6′ or more - not just ‘pushing 5′10″ tall.’ It was hard to judge how long his legs really were in the Elf costume since it had such a long tunic. But be that as it may, I still think he looked gorgeous as the Elf!

Go back and watch the scene where Leggy confronts the Orc after Aragorn goes over the cliff. That’s where I noticed his legs.

I like Doutzen, and I understand why certain people keep bringing her up on an ORLANDO BLOOM thread.
I know that it’s the Miranda haters who keep trying to compare her unfavorably to Doutzen, but they just don’t get the fact that nothing Doutzen does (or did) will ever have any effect on whether Orlando keeps seeing Miranda. He evidently doesn’t care if Miranda has worked in high fashion. He evidently doesn’t care if she ever will. It simple doesn’t matter. People who like Miranda don’t care what Doutzen does, just as people who like Doutzen don’t care what Miranda does.
Miranda is the face of VS perfume, and of their Dream Angels bra line. Doutzen is the face of their work out clothes. Seems pretty balanced to me. The only difference would be that if the situation was reversed, the haters would be going on and on about how Miranda was the face of their “cheap line”, while Doutzen had a bra created for her, blah, blah, blah. That’s was their favorite argument when Miranda was the face of their Pink line. It was cheap, low class, etc. That is, until they made her an Angel and gave her other things to promote, then it was all “oh, they moved Miranda out because she wasn’t good enough to be the face of such an important line….”. *rollseyes*
The haters will always try to make Miranda look bad. But the fact remains that she is the one that Orlando chooses to be with. And that is really what ticks them off. If he had chosen Doutzen, SHE would be the one being raked over the coals, while Miranda was held up as an example of perfection. Any woman that he dates, doesn’t stand a chance with some of his “fans”. The ones who want to run his life will never be happy.

Does anyone know if Orlando is actually in Durham yet? I read that filming was scheduled to begin on April 6.
