Anil Kapoor Joins Cast of ‘24′

Slumdog Millionare star Anil Kapoor has joined the cast of 24 as a series regular for season eight!

The 49-year-old Indian actor will play a Middle Eastern leader who comes to the U.S. on a peacemaking mission.

24 is currently in its seventh season with the two-hour finale airing @ 8PM ET/PT on Monday, May 18.

Slumdog Millionare picked up a whopping eight Oscars this past year, including Best Picture and Best Director.

Anil Kapoor has been speaking English since he was a kid…. like most Indians… I am going to guess that English is “his language” in addition to others.
