Happy Birthday, Robert Downey Jr.!

Robert Downey Jr. smokes a cigar before picking up some vitamins at Great Earth with his wife Susan on Friday (April 4) in Brentwood, Calif.

The comic-book superhero star later celebrated his 44th birthday at the luxurious Thompson Beverly Hills Hotel, according to E!’s Marc Malkin. Also in attendance: RDJ’s Iron Man costar Gwyneth Paltrow (and husband Chris Martin) and Jake Gyllenhaal (with girlfriend Reese Witherspoon).

Jake and RDJ costarred in the 2007 crime thriller Zodiac and went on a hiking date with their sig others late last year.

His wife looks pregnant ??? She’s quite plain really. Nothing wrong with her at all but quite ordinary i guess. Nice to see he’s not with a supermodel, fake tanned bleach blonde. Great actor.

I have ditched the idea that Jake and Reese will marry. If they were going to marry it would have happened by now. His sister has a “partner” (and his kid) without being married and I imagine Jake will follow her lead. The marriage rumors are just to keep attention on them. Will they, won’t they? Maybe, maybe not. That sort of thing.
