Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto get the red carpet treatment at the World Premiere of JJ Abram’s Star Trek: XI at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday (April 7) in Sydney, Australia.
The 28-year-old actor recently shared about almost turning doing the role for Captain Kirk. “This one week I had the opportunity to work with [George] Clooney, in this movie, White Jazz, which was the sequel to LA Confidential,” Chris told Access Hollywood at ShoWest in Las Vegas. “…as I did my due diligence and as I kind of looked at it, I found that I was scared more by the prospect of bringing Kirk to life again, because he’d already been done, and done really well.”
Chris won the Male Star of Tomorrow Award at the ShoWest awards last week.
