The thing i really like about Pitt is that he’s not TRYING to look younger. He looks even younger without the beard and mustache, but he wears them because HE likes them; Angelina probably does too lol. Frankly printed pictures do not do him justice.He has said many times he’s uncomfortable with people thinking of him as a sex symbol or as hunky. I think that’s why, in his career, he has mostly shied away from those Leading Man parts.

I like that he is comfortable in being who HE wants to be, he doesn’t behave as if he’s trying to or cares about impressing anyone. He has work and a family which he takes seriously. He cares about other people. You don’t devote yourself tirelessly to these causes without having a good measure of dedication. Sure he gets tired and sometimes it shows, but I think that’s what makes him even more attractive to women. You have average women talking about how they think it’s sexy when their man cleans up after dinner or draws their bath water or spends time playing with the kids. Pitt strikes me as THAT kind of man. As a bonus he’s really a treat to look at. Even without the bonus by the standards of most women he’d be one hell of a man.

In Canada they are married or commonaw married so calling each other or anybody else referring to them as husband and wife is correct.
I know lots of people who have been living together for many years and are referred to as hubby and wife and nobody cares or cares to know the difference. It’s their biz i guess just like Angie and Brad.

I wonder if they both decided tho not to get married right away due to the adoption rules. They both wanted to adopt and would of had to wait ontill they were married in some of the countries they require them to be married 5 yrs which would of been a long wait for them at that time. Studio use to name multiple people as producers even though they had nothing to do with the movie. Thus the Oscars made a rule that only 1 or 2 producers could be nominated and those people had to actually work on the set as the movie is being filmed. Brad was doing Babel at the time Departed was filming. However Brad P and Brad Gray purchased the rights to the film, hired the director, scriptwriter etc.

That $27 million dollar figure is bull and has been used in a number of different ways. Forbes said JA earned that from 6/07-6/08 but during that time she made four films. Only 2 have been distributed. She got $8 for “Marley & Me” and she did not have a back-end deal. She got about $2 million for each of the other 3. Even if you factor in the $14 million she gets for ‘Friends’ syndication the number is wrong. This same article said Angie only made $14 during that time period, even though she made both “Changeling”, “Wanted”and “Kung Fu Panda”. I believe Angie had back-end on both “Wanted” and “Kung Fu Panda”.

The film deals with death, but Tarantino no longer uses assassins, he uses soldiers. He uses soldiers pitted against the greatest villains in existence, and promises mass death and great dialogue.

Hollywood screenwriters could not have come up with a script this compelling: Canada’s own contractor extraordinaire Mike Holmes teams up with Alist movie star Brad Pitt to restore the devastated Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans.

But it’s not a movie; it’s the real-life adventure to make practical and pretty homes for some of those who lost theirs in Hurricane Katrina. Both of the guys behind the project just happen to be household names.

Great minds do, indeed, think alike. Pitt named the rebuilding plan Make It Right, which just happens to be Holmes’s philosophy and trademarked motto.

Holmes and his crew offered to build - for free - the first high-tech, low-cost home for Pitt’s project. Last summer, nearly three years after Katrina cut a path of destruction through the famed city, they braved oppressive heat, homesickness and even another hurricane to spend 10 weeks on the site - half the usual timeline for this type of construction. Their efforts are chronicled in Holmes in New Orleans, a two-part special for Global TV and a six-part series on HGTV.

Holmes tells me conditions were more difficult than he imagined.

“We’re in a place where we didn’t know anyone, it was a lot hotter than we’re used to and we were separated from family and friends.”

Conditions took their toll on the crew. As the series progressed, some literally couldn’t stand the heat and dropped off the project, creating extra pressure on an already stressful situation

Holmes says he even considered doffing his signature duds in order to cope. “I threatened every day to peel off my overalls because they were soaking wet.”

Brad made a quick trip to their house in Miraval to check on renovations at the home according to French news. Family plans to be there for the summer.
