Madonna Gives To Italy Quake Victims

Madonna leaves an office building in London and heads home on Wednesday (April 8).

According to the Associated Press, the 50-year-old singer pledged a “substantial amount” to the small mountain village of Pacentro where Madonna’s grandparents were born. The mayor of the small Italian town noted $500,000 as being the amount and said most of the donation will go to towns that were harder hit.

In a statement, Madonna said, “I am happy to lend a helping hand to the town that my ancestors are from. My heart goes out to the families that have lost loved ones or their homes.”

this is great…………thanks to Madonna, the quake victims need all of the help they can get. I hope others that can afford to give, will follow the example of Madonna. Can the Catholic church in Rome help out this Italian community?

she just did it in order to help with her adoption process..she does everything out of self-interest. What’s $500,000 these days, she has billions and should have donated at least 2-3 million if she was so generous.

Damned that she did.
Damned if she didn’t.
Now what’s a girl to do?

Naturally—she’s ITALIAN. That is where her roots are. Madonna, this “charity” is getting so fake

She’s more generous than the Pope. All he was worried about was the loss of his treasures.
