OlderVanessa Hudgens Has Court Complications
Vanessa Hudgens dons a pair of J Brand “912” pencil leg jeans in dark vintage as she heads to an important legal meeting at a Los Angeles office building on Wednesday afternoon (April 8).
The 20-year-old HSM star kept texting on her phone (Zac?) and checking her messages as she held onto her JJ Winters Suede Zip bag.
V is dealing with a lawsuit where her former manager Johnny Vieira, is accusing her and her father of backing out of a deal made when she was a minor. The lawsuit is for $5 million.
Earlier this month, the judge threw out all but one of Vieira’s claims, meaning he can only pursue the accusation of breach of settlement agreement if and when the case goes to trial next month.

Sure a contract is a contract–so why isn’t he suing for the compensation owed to him under said contract which pertains solely to earnings from her contract under Hollywood Records? If all he’s going after is his just compensation then he’d only be suing her for what’s owed to him under that contract and just that.
Instead this second lawsuit he instituted against her went after everything: her endorsements [which earn her possibly close to eight figures a year--I think last year or 2007 she made close to 9 mil.], merchandising/royalty fees from the HSM-trilogy and her film work.
He’s not entitled to such monies but when her former lawyer screwed up after failing to file the settlement agreement V and Veira came to with the court for approval to make it binding on both parties, he filed a second suit against her with ridiculous claims like breach of fiduciary duty, slander, which were dismissed because they couldn’t be substantiated by facts [aka: evidence].
By the time he filed his second lawsuit V was way more successful and in demand and worth a heck of a lot more than what was owed to him under their original agreement. He saw dollar signs and took advantage of her lawyer’s screw up to go after all of her money, money she earned fair and square with no help from him whatsoever.
She seems willing to pay whatever is owed to him under their original agreement but only what’s owed to him under that and he’s not satisfied with that.

She was a minor at the time of the contractual agreement; the jerk took advantage of a yet-unknown young actress.

Seems to me Vanessa has more class in her pinky than some do in their entire bodies. She’s not spoken out against this guy, she’s not trashed him in the press, she’s not waged a publicity war against him. She’s done her utmost to handle this matter professionally and privately. It’s the former manager who tried to run to the press. I fail to see what makes her a troll and worthy of losing her entire earnings.
He’s being a total jerk and he’s only doingit now because she has made it so BIG and certainly NOT with his help!! Zac is right there with her in spirit even if he’s not able to be there with her in person,he’s her strength and she will get thru this. I have all the faith in the world that the judge will see thru this. Nessa and I talked about this awhile back,and yeah it has her worried but she will prevail over this creep!! She was a MINOR at the time NOT an adult,so that’s why all the other things were dropped and lord willing this part will be dimissed as well. Nessa is like a daughter to me,she calls me her second mom and we talk alot. She knows Zac as well as myself,her family,his family and of course all her fans are pulling for her :o) Thanks guys I know she appreciates it really! And as for the one that says she’s not talented,gee guess what if she wasn’t she sure as hell wouldn’t be getting all the movie,commercial,modeling offers she has been GETTING!!! And if any of you think I’m a kid or just BSing,trust me I happen to be a 55 year old wife,mother,grandmother and grtgrandmother. And Nessa,Zac and I have been close like family friends ever since shortly after HSM.. They are a blessing to have in my life and my 9 yr. old Grandson talks to them as well when he can.

I would set the record straight, but I see that is already been done. The contract issue once again, was due to a failure of her past lawyer. i am sure the reason Viera is trying to settle out of court, is because he knows he has lost it. He is a money hungry idiot, and I hope young girls and their families don’t fall prey to his work tactics. The believe the reason Vanessa took this to court is because the claims that were dropped were rediculous, and she wanted to bring him to light. Good for her. As for the settlement claim, she should pay, and I’m sure in the end she will. i don’t feel she would fight that out of court, but yet, the other claims were rediculous. They should have been fought, and I’m glad the judge saw it that way as well.

She made $6 million total in 2006. Not sure what she made in 2007 but she made $3 million in 2008 from just the HSM3 movie. So with all the endorsements and such she can pay $5 million very easily. I don’t think he’ll get that much though.

Zac Efron Vanessa Hudgens Wedding: Zac & Vanessa Married By September
We hear High School Musical sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will tie the knot in a intimate wedding ceremony planned for September.
Blabbing tattles tell Britain’s People that the couple are already eyeing tropical venues for the Fall nupitals. Hawaii’s winning by a nose.
“Zac is over the moon Vanessa said ‘yes,;” according to a source close to the couple. “They are both young but they know it’s the real thing.”
Zac, 21, and Vanessa, 20, met on the set of Disney’s High School Musical three years ago and played teen couple Troy and Gabriella in the franchise. The young lovers live together in Los Angeles.
“The proposal was something Zac had been thinking about for a while. They are both really excited about the wedding - it will be a star-studded day. They fell in love with Hawaii while there for a friend’s wedding. And Vanessa wants to get married on a beach so it’s perfect.”
