Matilda Ledger Swings Into Action
Michelle Williams goes in for an early morning coffee with her daughter Matilda, 3, in Brooklyn, New York City on Friday (April 10).
Matilda was dressed in a cute yellow raincoat and red rain boots. She received a bit of a lift from her mom and an older mystery male!
Yesterday, Michelle’s director boyfriend Spike Jonze was spotted at breakfast with Matilda at Upper West Side eatery Isabella’s.

Why are some of you hating on Michelle? I’m sure she is still kind of having a difficult time coping. Her daughter is full ofl life and joy just like her father. She is so cute!
That little girl is so full of life and joy! What a cutie and she looks and acts a lot like her dad.
I have SO MUCH respect for Michelle and how she is raising her daughter. Michelle truly puts Matilda’s needs before her own and this little girl, is and will grow up happy, healthy and full of love.
Many celeb parents(Tomkat ) could learn many parenting tips from Michelle. It’s ALL about priorities.

Michelle is a single mom who NEVER USES her child for any ulterior motives. Matilda and Michelle are one of the few celebrity families who actually balance work and life w/o using the paps for attention. They probably are as normal as you can be in this business.

I love this little family!!! Michelle has created a regular childhood for sweet Matilda. She is doing everything right. Look how happy Matilda is!!!! Interesting that Michelle can carry her own bags and do her errands without the need for goon-bodyguards(katie) and “helpers”. Also isn’t’ it cute that Matilda walks on her own and plays, unlike one celeb-spawn(suri) that must be carried everywhere she goes.

I agree, Michelle is one parent that balances her life around her beautiful little girl. Living in NYC you see celebs out all the time w/ their families and hardly a pap in sight. It can be done. Well done Michelle.
Michelle IS doing something right! She IS being a good mom and raising her child out of the glare of cameras. Matilda isn’t cowering w/ her blanket in her robotmoms arms all gloom and doom. Matilda is growing up a lovely & happy & smiling 3 year old!! Doing what 3 yr olds should do. Playing and laughing and running around!!!!

I suppose your kids must be taking up spots 1, 2 and 3.
But I think Matilda is adorable. She’s obviously a very happy child unlike another child of a famous father I might mention.
Last year I was listening to a show about dreams and a woman called in who was psychic. She said she didn’t know who Heath Ledger was (not much of a movie-goer or magazine reader), but soon after Heath died he came to her in a dream. She wrote it down because she wanted to try and find out who he was. She finally learned it was actor Heath Ledger. First of all in the dream he was very shy and surrounded by a number of people. It was like a pub atmosphere, a social place. I wish I could recall more of what she said, but he came up to her and said he was fine, good even. He said he wished it hadn’t happened but accepted the consequences of his actions. Also he told her he tries to communicate with Michelle by moving things around in their home. She seems to know it’s him and feels his presence. He was happy though, at peace. He wanted people to know this. Really interesting stuff.

I think that guy is Dan Estabrook. He’s an artist and friend of Michelle’s. I read about him in an interview with Michelle in Elle last year…looked up some of his work and it’s very unique!

The kid looks happy. She smiles. And that is more than you can say for Reese Witherspoon’s kids who never smile or laugh at all when they are with her.
How can some say that this little girl is not cute? Her parents are both very attractive people. She is precious just like my own daughter. Matilda is a year younger than mine but they are so similar. I know Michelle hates having photos taken all the time of them but it sure is nice to see her daughter going through all the changes of growing up.
It’s good that Michelle is keeping men in Matilda’s life…she’s gonna need a father figure.
