If it was Suri Cruise waving with her mom in these photos you’d be crying photo op and accusing Katie Holmes of being a pimp.

Of course, I’m not accusing Michelle Williams of anything. I’m just pointing out the double standard.

If you want an opinion it has to be based on facts, that’s what you always “teach” everyone on this site. The very obvious fact is that we rarely see little Matilda on pics because her mother does everything to give that kid an normal life. And tha fact is Katie Holmes pimps out her daughter for her own purposes, even if the kid is completly upset. And she does this, day after day after day. Not talking now about how she could learn to dress Suri by also looking at Matilda… Hmmm… Facts Raphael, everyone notices the difference.

Do you have any idea how idiotic that is, #27? It’s now okay to pimp out your kids if they like the cameras? There’s a condition now? And you can tell when one parent is staging a photo op and when another isn’t by…I don’t know…mind reading? There’s a proper way for a 2 year-old to behave in front of the cameras that they don’t like now?

No matter how much the gap is between photos, you accuse Katie Holmes of pimping out her kid no matter how famous they are and how public their location is. And there was a point when Matilda Ledger was photographed just as much if not more than Suri Cruise but I don’t remember anyone making outlandish accusations there.

there’s no need to compare matilda to suri. matilda is normal and a happy child. michelle obviously did a good job in raising matilda. suri however always look disturbing when she’s out. suri is the only child you see covering her ears and face all the time which makes other people think she has a mental problem. if you don’t see anything wrong with how katie raises her child then i’ll respect your opinion but don’t get upset if some people don’t see it the way you see it and i hope you’ll respect it too. everybody’s got different views you know, you should not take it personally.

matilda is a normal child unlike suri.

Aww she is precious. Given that she has gone through so much in her life already, she seems so happy and very well cared for. It is obvious Michelle is a great mom.

Um, yeah she has gone through a lot. Children know when their parents are not around; they cry when their parents just go out to dinner. And I am sure that Michelle was an absolute mess after Heath died so Matilda had to see her mom cry all the time. She won’t remember much as an adult but don’t think because she is so young that she doesn’t feel anything. I am just saying that she is well adjusted and looks happy…look at the comparison to Suri who has both her parents and yet she cringes and holds her ears when she is around the paps.

Is that it, #32? Because you’re comparing kids, you think that just because Suri Cruise is the only kid to hate the paparazzi she’s abnormal or that her parents aren’t raising her well?

If you want to argue about Suri, go somewhere else Raphael. I feel bad for you, wasting your life on the internet like this- you post comments with the pretense of challenging people regarding an unrelated topic. How do you even know the same people post on threads of Suri’s? I sure as hell don’t.

That said, it’s pointless comparing the two. They are children and they have two completely different sets of parent/s and two different personalities. It’s like comparing an apple with a banana.

You’re right. It is pointless comparing two different people. So why do they do it?

Her mother looks upset in one of the photos that her daughter is waving to the paps. That is the last thing she wants. If this keeps up, they’ll move out of Dodge. Mathilda does look like a bright and very happy kid; but no mother would want their child to be overly friendly with paps - it just eggs them on. It would worry me.

This is heartbreaking! I’m really happy seeing this adorable little girl smiling all the time but then on the other hand I have to think of Heath and how he can only watch her from above, how Matilda will probably not really remember her dad and this makes me sad…
Hopefully Michelle will raise Matilda with the best memories of Heath!

Matilda is a little rebel like her father. Michelle has tried to make her understand the photographers aren’t nice people, and not to look at them, but Matilda obviously doesn’t care. WHen Michelle tried to get her to ignore them, she asked, “What’s the problem, Mom?” LOL! She is a LOT like her father. She has his nose and his eyes and his smile. But it looks like she has his spirit too. Who ever these men are that come around Matilda, I sincerely hope they are good people who will treat her properly. She needs a father figure in her life, but not some jerk.

Matilda is always smiling at the paparazzi when her mother isn’t around. Michelle is fearful of them and I think it would be unfair on the poor little girl to feel threatened by them. The paparazzi don’t want to hurt the child at all. It is not THEIR fault that she is being photographed. They just do their jobs.
Matilda seems a free spirit like her father. He hated paparazzi but he was incredibly shy and I feel Michelle is that way inclined also, but if she just completely ignores these strange people who don’t seem to be all up in her face like they are with Katie/Suri and the Brangelina clan and ignores them, Matilda will be fine.
I hope they don’t leave Brooklyn. It’s Matilda’s home, where she was born and where her dad loved to be with her.

Now you see that Matilda is happy but when she will grow up and say why dady is dead, her face will change. she will be sad and angry to her mom

Quit defending the paparazzi, #60. It’s not that girl’s fault that she’s famous. Only her mother should be photographed and her space should still be respected. ‘They’re just doing their job’ is a stupid excuse.

She’s adorable. I think it is so creepy that these paps are calling out her name to get a picture of her. That’s why she’s smiling. A 3.5 year old can not possibly understand what is going on. I love to see pics of her as well but the tactics that the paps use are disgusting.

Matilda and Violet are the cutest lil girlies!!! the paps are despicable, but what else would you expect.

Many celebs do keep their kids away from the paps though! lt’s not rocket science ya know!

Maybe she’s better than Suri because she is actually a respectable young child, not a little diva!
