OlderVanessa Hudgens To Cover Self Magazine
Vanessa Hudgens will take the May 2009 cover of Self Magazine.
The 20-year-old former High School Musical sweetheart recently purchased her own home, which interior designer Kenneth Brown will be decorating (he’s also doing her boyfriend Zac Efron’s home too).
“I keep a Taser in my purse for self-defense,” Vanessa said. “I’m moving into a house by myself, and it’s scary.”
As for going au naturel, Ms. Hudgens shared, “Sometimes I feel prettier without makeup. You take it off and you’re like, Oh, there I am! But red lips make me feel sexy . . . It brings out the vixen in you.”
Young Hollywood is definitely becoming bankable. 19-year-old Taylor Swift took the mag’s March 2009 cover.
Vanessa is currently in New York City to support Zac, who’s hosting Saturday Night Live TONIGHT @ 11:30PM ET/PT on NBC.

the girl is TALENTED. ppl have to stop writing comments like that about any celebrity. if she wasn’t talented, she wouldn’t be famous. i agree there are some people in hollywood who may not be that talented, but in no way does se fall into that category. guys, she’s a triple threat. how is that not talented. Zanessa rule….it’s good to know when Zac and Vanessa support each other which makes them very normal on their relationship. They just showing that there are very much normal human being who cares and support each very much. I think they are kinda living the much normal side of their relationship now coz HSM is behind them and there nothing for them to hide their true feelings and showing that their relationship is just like other couple who live their life one step at a time. Zanessa Rocks!!! whatever people says….there are a lot people in this world who are jealous and can’t accept the fact that this two people can actually pull it of no matter what. One saying says…Love is hard to find, but one you find it who have to grabe it and hold on coz this might be the greatest love you will have and you just let it pass you. Love is a risk just like what life has to offer in everyday of our life.

she’s not THAT talented. her acting is attrocious in hsm 2 but she was good in the movie Thirteen. An her voice is okay. She doesn’t have a strong voice like Jordan Sparks or someone.

Can’t wait till “Bandslam” come out in August. Wonder if she and Aly will be promoting it. Also can’t wait to hear when “Sucker Punch” starts filming. Anyone know if she’s still going to do “Dead @ 17″? She’ll be GREAT in action flicks.

How lovely, sweet and yet sultry does Van look in her bikini. I love the easy pose that is not trying to prove anything or be what it’s not.
The issue is all about natural beauty and who better exemplifies that than one who is comfortable in her own body and carries herself with such poise and confidence. Young she might be but what a woman she’s growing to be. i’m so proud.

You’re right, Naomi. Some people have no sense of human decency and only know how to be critical and cruel. It’s so sad. Instead of just commenting on those they like, they get some kind of thrill out of being ugly and vicious.
Stop the hate, people. She is someone’s daughter, sister, girlfriend, granddaughter, niece, or friend. She IS talented, in more ways than one, and will have many directions she can go, whether acting, singing, being a spokesperson for a product, dancing, style icon, etc. She is NOT just one dimensional, like those others someone listed.
