David Beckham is a Real Madrid Man

David Beckham spends his Easter watching Real Madrid as they defeat Valladolid (2-0) at Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain on Sunday (April 12).

The 33-year-old soccer star for AC Milan then headed to his favorite restaurant for a casual dinner with some friends.

Forbes magazine released its list of the top 20 football earners. Not surprisingly, David tops the list earning $46 million in 2008. Also on the top 20 were Cristiano Ronaldo ($21m), Ronaldinho ($33m), and AC Milan’s Kaka ($22m).

Why is he getting paid so much money for being an awful footballer? I don’t get it. He’s good looking I agree, but didn’t the US pay him alot of money and he only played maybe three games?

#13 Most of his money comes from non-footballing palces…wella t least int erms of actually playing football. He’ll get alot from his image rights ie: shirt sales & basically anything with his anme or face on, he has tons of sponsorship deals, the Armani pants, those pens, tons of others he ahs in Japan etc. I think if the list were just noting the playing contracts these players have with their football clubs then Becks would not be top.

Oh also he went to dinner with some of the Real Madrid squad, players he used to know & play with when he wasstill at Real.
