#72 Brad wanted KIDS, not a baby machine!! Maybe if she did’nt lie to him for years and years about wanting them to, things might have been different. Brad wanted kids, just like millions of men&woman!!
Also Brad is now 45, and looks great for it!! Of course his looks will change from fight club days, he is not into massive Botox and surgery, unlike Jen!

Tracking on the film with AE was really terrible so it was renamed from Travelling. This is not a very good sign for any film. Management is going up against Angels and Demons with Tom Hanks in only limited distribution, so few will see it opening week. Problem with her next 2 films (Management and the renamed Travelling) is that they were cheap indies which struggled to find distributors for over a year and are being thrown in theatres as fillers.

The Baster was also an indie that has been picked up by Miramax and that is a cheap studio now that Disney totally controls it. She is having problems getting studio films even with the success of M&M and is executive producing this film with her friend who is in her production company with her, this is not a good sign for future films. Maybe she will have to pick up the reins and produce her own projects but money is very tight for a production company like hers with no history or track record of any successes these days. So far the major studios are not knocking on her door not has any studio affliated with her production company.

She is looking her age, she is 40 years old after all. She also looks very tired. This film seems to be more intensive in its fiming schedule that any of her other recent films. She filmed her part in SJNIY in only one week according to Ben Affleck.

LisaK is doing lots of indies and is a better actress in my opinion. CCox is back to tv. The men from Friends are mostly living off their residuals which are $$millions for all of them per year. Only difference that accounts for her busier career today is having a famous ex. Deny that all you will but that is how I see it.

I read an article in a respectable paper over here in OZ, and it had quotes from Daniel Craig, Tom Hanks, Drew Barrymore & other hugely respected actors and they were quoted as saying how tight HW has gotten and execs don’t have the same funds as in the past. Jen will have to make more and more indies!! I don’t know why she does’nt just take a break and live with her millions!!

When the very top AListers are talking about how tight funds are these days for movies, it tells you the real story. Studios have cut back on the number of films that they plan to produce and that number gets smaller each year that is projected out beginning this year. Indies are not being picked up as quickly or at all as before and this trend was out in force this year at Sundance, most indies were left unsold praying and hoping to be picked up at some time. Films are sitting for years now unseen. These are films with big time stars.

Star salaries are being slashed and the day of the big backend deals is quickly disappearing. Animation, Transformers type movies, cheap male bonding type comedies, animal costars, comic book adaptions, adventures, retreads like Star Trek, these are the films being greelighted these days. I love dramas and fewer of those seem likely to be produced in the future.

She has got to be feeling the stresses of the twin facets of today’s movie business reality and her ageing. One can only play the “girl” so long and then that role becomes obsolete as one’s age advances, with younger women grabbing prime roles. She just does not appear to be able to adapt and survive, to find another niche in films, The Baster will not do that for her, as here she is in high fashion and same hair as usual. She has not done animation in the past and that is a hot genre, just look at ReeseW and Cameron. She has done safe romantic comedies over and over.

She knows this well, hence the cry for a role in a “Bond” film last month in the UK. But you can’t keep the same look for 20 years and only act in the same type roles and never change and think producers and studios will notice you and cast you in something very different. Even the so called AList comedy actors are bypassing her and casting others, like Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller and Adam Sadler in their latest films.

You could change out her in almost every film she has done and they would all run together. There is just no change.

Aaron Eckharts career was going so well with The dark night, WHY would he sign to do that stinker with Jen, probably before Batman! I reckon he regrets doing the movie now!!!
