Good for her. I can’t stand Mel Gibson.

Much as i may fancy Hollywood actors id rather scratch my eyeballs out than marry one. Im usually loathe to tar everyone with the one brush but it seems to be a case of fidelity being completely dismissed in famous people. Even those with long marriages like Denzel Washington have had cheating rumours. Those wives either choose to ignore it or to overlook it, something i could not do.

Robin is also a devout Catholic and im sure she tried her hardest to make it work but there comes a point where enough is enough. The blatant disrespect Mel has shown to her over the years is shameful and it is his loss right now. She probably feels freer than she has in years. Its such a shame after 30 + years that it didnt work as they have basically grown up together and nobody will know them like eachother. No piece of 20 something ass can replace that connection in my opinion but obviously men have a different make up and let their **** rule their brain.

Oh, for heaven’s sake. Not every divorce is some tragedy. They had 28 years together and 7 children. That’s quite a ride and I am sure they are grateful for it. There is no purpose in trying to blame anyone. Now they are moving on.

I hate to break it to the youngsters with stars in their eyes but the majority of people after 28 years of marriage are more than ready to move on. Most of them however either lack the courage or confidence to do so. And they certainly rarely have the kind of resources that Mel and Robyn will have to resettle their lives.

New love is wonderful and delicious at any age - even more so as you mature and appreciate it more. I wish both of these people new loves in their lives. Amen.

That is to bad. They now have 2 little grandchildren and it is more fun to be grandparents to them when you are a couple together.

I don;t know how she stayed with him for so long. He is so over. I hope she takes him to the bank. If he is seeing someone else , I feel sorry for anyone who is stupid enough to get involved with him.

Mel Gibson is a hypocrite and philanderer. I guess Robyn finally got wise or fed up. Sad story, but unlike a lot of women, she will be taken well care of.

I think that it’s sad that they would divorce after that many years of marriage! I think they should try and work things out. But I don’t know why she shouldn’t get half of his money! She’s given him all those children, stayed by him for all these years… of course she should get half!
