OlderBlake Lively Covers ‘Allure’ May 2009
Gossip Girl beauty Blake Lively models the perfect asymmetrical Alexander Wang dress in the May 2009 cover spread from Allure, on stands April 21. Check out what the 21-year-old actor revealed:
On why she feels like a tranny most of the time: “I feel like a tranny a lot of the time. I don’t know, I’m….large? They put me in six inch heels, and I tower over every man. I’ve got this long hair and lots of clothes and makeup on. I just feel really big a lot of the time, and I’m surrounded by a lot of tiny people. I feel like a man sometimes.”
On her image as a blonde fashion queen: “I’m blonde, and I have a small dog, so I try to avoid looking like a piece of bubble gum.”
On being quiet about her relationship with Penn Badgley: “You see people who will open up their relationships, who are very affectionate on the red carpet or are doing a reality show with each other, and their relationship just seems to crumble, so I decided to keep a vow of silence.”
On what she will say about Penn: “He plays any instrument he picks up, he bought a piano, and then two months later you would think he was a concert pianist.”

Is she tall? I know Taylor Momsen used to model and is tall…so, are they like both tall or something?
she says she’s surrounded by a lot of tiny people but all of her costars have the same size, they all are tall, except Leighton Meester. So i don’t understand where that comes from… ok she’s maybe one or two inches taller but that’s nothing.
she is beautiful, but what i like most is the way she wears and looks in clothes. she is a lucky actress who easily walks in the shoes of a model. waiting to see her on some more campaigns soon!!

she is probably saying that about “towering men” because all her male costars (i mean, the 3 principal characters-chuck , dan, nate) are 1.75-max 1.80 cm tall. And that in a boy is not tall. It is average. My height is 1.74cm and I can relate to her…sometimes I say to myself that i can be a model, who cares if I only end up with average height guys..but sometimes is just depressing. :D
