Shia LaBeouf: My Hand Has Permanent Damage

Shia LaBeouf has opened up to EW about his hand injuries, which were caused from his car crash/DUI bust. Check out this snippet:

How is the hand now? I’m on my third surgery. That’s coming up in a week or two [from April 2]. My middle finger is still crooked as a f—ing noodle, so they’ve gotta straighten it out and put a screw in it… I imagine like two months and I’ll be back on my feet.

How much usage will you get back of your left hand? Probably about 80-something percent. I’ll be able to make a fist again. There’s a knuckle I’ll never be able to move again, but that’s probably the only permanent damage, other than the scarring.

That’s awful, but things happen when you Drink and Drive. I’m glad he won’t lose more than 80% mobility of his hand…and good it won’t interfere with his acting…this must be a wakeup call for him.

He was NEVER charged for DUI and the accident was not deemed his fault. ANOTHER driver ran a red light.

#11, this kid has a break…he’s famous and he’s ******** it up for himself…#13…so, he just isn’t allowed to drive because of his two finger incident…RIGHT….he was under the influence of alcohol and it’s not like he hasn’t drink and driven before…wheither or not if it was his fault…the judge obviously thought he had a bigger role in this situation.

He deserves it 100%. He’s actually incredibly lucky to even be alive. How dare he complain about a crippled hand when someone’s family member could have died.

DUI is DANGEROUS and SELFISH.

To Hell with him, he got off lucky.
