Bikini-clad Vanessa Hudgens ain’t in High School anymore–she’s graduated to an Oscar appearance, a new movie role (Bandslam) and she’s got 25 things to share that you don’t know about her.
Here’s just five of the 25 things in the May 2009 issue of Self Magazine.
On one of her fave celebs: “I’m in love with Angelina Jolie. Everything she does, I adore.”
On her favorite animal: “I love snakes. I think they’re sexy. Not in the wild, of course, but pet snakes.”
On where she wants to take her acting career: “I’d like to do an action film where I could kick someone’s ass. I want to be strong and empowered. I want to shock everybody.”
On the craziest she’s ever eaten: “A fruit bat — specialty in the Seychelles islands. They cooked it in red wine. It was really, really dark, grainy meat. It was quite frightening.”
On what her dad passed down to her: “I have really strong legs. I inherited them from my dad, who has tree stumps for legs, basically. I’ve got big calves that look good. When I wear heels, it looks like I’ve worked out my legs a lot, which is why I love them. I also have a big, big big toe. I call it my goat toe. I can climb anything.”
Vanessa’s on-and-off-screen boyfriend, Zac Efron, is on the May 2009 cover of GQ.

Holy Crap people! why so critical and judgemental on her answers to the questions. Honestly! Vanessa is one of Hollywoods true to yourself celebrity today, there is so much fakeness and brown nosing people just to get by these days that you actually forget to be true to yourself and just answer authenticaly honest, that when you do people just don’t know what to take on it. Vanessa is very, very smart by letting in only the things she feels is appropriate for her fans to know and she lets them know honestly, not saying things that people want to hear but the way she expresses it. So people back off on this young women and let her be, she’s her own person and she’ll go far with that personality because people can see through honesty than fake which when you keep doing it people get tired of it and forget about you and all you BS.
She looks beautiful on the cover! and she seems like a fun person to hang around with but snakes!

there’s nothing wrong with what she said in the article. people are finding fault with nothing. i understand it when the opinion is justified (not saying that zac deserved the comments he recieved) but this is purely because of people’s hatred for her in the first place and you know it. people have a right to their opinion but there’s a way to go about it and that’s why everyone’s anooyed.

I’ll admit I was a bit apprehensive about the feature but gosh, I couldn’t love her more if I tried.
This just shows how she doesn’t take herself seriously, it’s playful, it’s original, it’s revealing, we don’t know these things about her and it’s just uniquely Vanessa.
Who else will find snakes sexy, name her big toe and feel very confident saying it in a women’s magazine? She’s never cared what people thought (lol, she’s already a loser) and she ain’t gonna start now. That’s real freedom, baby!

I find vanessa an interesting charather in fact. She is beautiful and talented IN singing. But in acting she is the worst actress probally in the universe. I think she could do better. I mean in high school musical 2 the scene were she was confronting sharpay (ashley tisdale) made everyone laugh. I hate how people try to be something there not. Vanessa needs to stop acting famous and thinking she’s perfect. She should stick to disney as well as zac. I hate it how they use disney as a use for fame. I don’t think she’ll have a very high career but she isn’t as bad as some of you haters or 1 hater who keep pretending to be more than one person, okay anyway in her movie Thirteen, Vanessa was really good in that. She could be a good dramatic actress if she looses that childish voice. And I don’t get why she loves Angelina Jolie cause she’ll probably end up like her. Decent actress who’s loved mostly for their looks and personal life with her boyfriend. Vanessa, admire actresses like Kate Winslet or Cate Blanchett or Meryl Streep since they all can actually act.
