No doubt. He had a blast. A friend worked on set and Brad had the time of his life too bad he didn’t act like a man in love or in a solid relationship. His trailer didn’t stop rocking. Good news is that everyone loved him because he knows how to share.

Jared deleted all the posts except this one. I guess it’s true than. The guy tries to act like a good dad for the camera but his twins were only months old when this was goin on. They treat Angelina like crap and brad is the one doing drugs and cheating.

I am usually not petty but I can’t help but wish that this particular movie tanks at the BO - First, Russell Crowe is a sell out especially due to the writer’s strike at the time he signed and second, b/c Affleck is no Ed Norton! What do you guys think?

I completely agree. The studio is determined to rewrite history on this movie. It may just be a way to divert attention from what may be violations of the strike - i.e., the types of script changes that are allowed during a writers’ strike.

It looks like Kevin MacDonald has had his talking points delivered to him straight from the studio heads. He is spouting these thinly veiled digs at Brad and it is pissi.ng me off. He wouldn’t even have this job without Brad. I wonder if the movie would have even had financing without the Pitt name attached.

And, yes, Crowe was a sell out taking this part considering the strike and the reason why Brad refused to go forward without a rewrite after the strike. Crowe has really been desperate to work his way back up the heap in the industry. I am sure that a nice payday with State of Play was also a huge incentive. He hasn’t had many of those in recent years and he was only starting to earn big when her practically self-destructed. So much for his hypocritcal attacks on fellow actors for doing ads. Clooney, DeNiro, Matt Damon, Leo, I guess impliedly Brad and Angie. He, of course does the exact same thing with his sports team - he uses his name to sell it and now the team is even a sponsor of State of Play. That’s a double commercial - Crowe using his name and fame and now his movie to support his own company.
I have noted that so far Crowe seems to be circumspect about commenting on Brad’s departure from the movie. In one interview Crowe said something to the effect that Pitt’s life was complicated at the time - though not negative it was still lying about why Brad left.

In any event the movie seems to be getting lukewarm reviews. A few actually hate it but mostly just think it’s average with some praise for some of the acting. Crowe can usually do a decent job in these type of roles. I am reading mixed reviews of the other actors including the fab Ms Mirren. In fairness, Mirren seems to be limited by her role. Actually Jason Bateman and Jeff Daniels got some shout outs from some critics. This movie should also get a boost in support from the critics because they believe they are journalists and they think this movie puts journalists in an heroic light. Who knows what kind of BO it will do. Let’s see if Crowe can get through the junkets and premiere without shooting himself in the foot.

I don’t condone violence but I will definitely be watching IB because I support Brad & Angie. I am looking forward to see them on the red carpet at Cannes festival next month. I miss the kids.

Someone need to tell that Kevin chap that some of us are put off watching State of Play because all we see is a phone blow to the head …however, we sure are planning to buy tickets to see the ********…

When I see Pitt, I don’t see a flying phone someone’s froth and a prime candidate of anger management.

Heck, if I had to choose, I would choose Pitt of the phone-Crowe.

Actually, we saw all their movies throughout their splits, shouts, alone times in the last 5 years.
