OlderJamie Foxx To Miley Cyrus: I’m Sorry!
Yesterday on The Late Show With David Letterman, Jamie Foxx apologized to teen sensation Miley Cyrus for the many inappropriate things he said about her on his Sirius radio show on Sunday.
“I so apologize … and this is sincere,” Jamie said. “I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far. I have a radio show… We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart. Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand.”"
On Jamie’s radio show, Foxxhole, he told Miley to catch a sexually transmitted disease and to “get a gum transplant … make a sex tape … do some heroin.” (And those were the nicer things he had to say.)

I REALLY have lived too long! The New York City and Hollywood celebrity influence is seducing the American audience into moral bankruptcy. Howard Stern is NOT FUNNY! He is crass and obnoxious and “holds” an audience through sensationalism… about as intelligent and creative as a planned trainwreck! By his ludicrous comments toward a young female (16-year-old or not, famous or not, talented or not, bratty or not, white or not), Jamie Foxx has placed himself in the company of very LOW LIFE. I can’t believe someone at his age as talented as he is would sacrifice previous fans like myself to make such a stupid, moronic, malicious, racist comment to get a laugh!!! His apology was self-serving and he is not the class act I presumed him to be. I doubt that he’ll notice my absence, but he has lost a fan.
Guess we can call his daughter a Supid Black B—-. I’m sure he will laugh at that.

Look man, if you want to say “funny” stuff about people, or even “racist” things, even if you don’t really mean them and are just being comedic, keep it to yourself and your friends. I dare anyone to say they haven’t said anything that isn’t considered politically incorrect, and that we’ve done it only in jest, but to come out in public and belittle a little girl is just friggin’ wrong. I used to really like Jamie Foxx both as comedian and as an actor, but it’ll take more than an apology and an excuse as being a comedian to make him (at the very least) a good person in my eyes.
