Rachel McAdams Brings ‘The Notebook’ To Life

Rachel McAdams carries around “The Notebook” (you can never have enough references to that movie) as she hits the morning show circuit in New York City on Wednesday morning (April 15).

The 30-year-old Canadian actress wore a cute Brian Reyes coat as she promoted her new movie, State of Play. The political thriller is about a team of investigative reporters working alongside a police detective to try to solve the murder of a congressman’s mistress. Rachel plays Della Frye, a popular blogger turned junior political reporter.

State of Play opens everywhere this Friday, April 17, and also features Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Helen Mirren, Jason Bateman, Robin Wright Penn and Jeff Daniels.

P.S. Rachel says co-star Ben goes into politics and even though she can’t vote in the U.S., she’d support him by wearing a “Vote for Ben” sticker.
