Christian Bale: Gymnastics Class Hero
Christian Bale takes his 4-year old-daughter to a gymnastics academy in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (April 15).
The 35-year-old British actor will be soon promoting his new movie Terminator Salvation, which arrives in theaters May 21. The official film site is at TerminatorSalvation.com.
Christian’s work in The Dark Knight is up for a Best Male Performance nomination for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. You can get your votes in at MTV.com.

Why is he creepy? I don’t get those comments. Dancer: they look miserable cause the man can’t spend some time with his daughter without being filmed. And I think its great to see him taking his child to her gymnastic class and not a nanny or an assistant. Just wish others would see it for what it is, a father trying to enjoy his daughters childhood before shes all grown up.

Hey Granmarie—do some research on your ‘white knights’ like Robert Downey, Jr and the run ins they’ve had with the law and severe drug abuse before you go holding them up on a perfect pedestal.
Oh please, bald outing, it’s obvious from every picture with his daughter that Christian absolutely adores his daughter and vice versa. I was a total Daddy’s Little Girl and everyone thought my father was really intimidating (he’s a retired Marine Sergeant), but he’s always been loving and gentle with me. Tough guys love their little girls. These pictures remind me of me and Dad when I was a little girl. I’m getting wistful.
I always find it interesting that people so closely align their opinions with that of the various tabloids out there. Please, Christian Bale is fantastic actor and great man. Have any of you “haters” read Michael Caine’s recent comments on the incident where he clearly said that if it was him he would have also gone ballistic. We’re all human and have a right to have a bad day. These photos are if anything indicative of his love and sweet nature.

I agree with Blueeyes. Imagine how you’d feel if every time you left your home or took your kid to gymnastics, there was some pap photographing the whole thing. He seems like a very devoted father. All of the pictures of him and his daughter are candid moments like this. He does not parade her around for attention and to show how great a father he is, unlike Tom Cruise. That fact alone more than makes up for his “mistake”.
