In other tweeting news, Oprah only has 30,000 followers but will make her first 140-character tweet on-air tomorrow on @oprah. Appropriately enough, her guest tomorrow is Ashton, who will buy 10,000 mosquito bed nets for World Malaria Day April 25 if he crosses the million mark before CNN. Trend-wise, it looks like aplusk will win!
UPDATE: Ashton has passed CNN! As of 10:30pm, Ashton has 985K and CNN has 984K. You’re well on your way to a million Ashton! Mosquito nets all around!

i was going to email to post about this, because i know you’re on the twitter. but i’ve been obssessed with this ****, because i believe that ashton is on ssomething…and if the twitter dudes know what’s up they’d partner with youtub and google and see to it that the tv media goes down. the internet is the way of the future. who really reads the newspaper anymore…maybe me, but still i don’t even read magazines anymore. there’s no point paying for stuff when i can get it for free. that’s how the music industry started to dicombobulate so you know it’s gonna happen. it’s history in the making. I MEAN EA UP’D IT UP FOR THE 1 MILLIONTH TWITTERER, SIMS!!!!! anyways ashton’s won it. it’s 2:30 eastern and he’s past 1 million already. i’ve been watching this thing life daily, and it’s amazing the number of people following. i was all for traditional media and was supporting the cnnbrk page, and i think there’s a couple trolls/bots/fake accounts involved in this ****, but i’m sure the twitter people won’t argue.
i don’t have a twitter but i really wanted to hop on and make sure aplusk didn’t win. i still love the kid.
