Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens: Lakers Lovers
Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens (in Dylan George skinny jeans) don’t hold back on the PDA as they watch a game from courtside between the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2009 NBA Playoffs at LA’s Staples Center on Sunday afternoon (April 19). Earlier in the day, the couple was spotted at the 2009 Coachella Musical Festival in Indio, Calif.
Zac’s new comedy 17 Again opened at #1 at the weekend box office with $24.1 million in ticket sales. State of Play came in second with $14.1 million (starring Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren and Robin Wright Penn).

Back to more pleasant topics:
Zac has the mellow look of a well-sated guy sitting next to the love of his life. He doesn’t to grin like a fool, the fact that he can’t keep his hands of her makes it a bit too obvious that he’d rather be getting on with their previous activity than sitting watching the game.
Vanessa is glowing in a very contented way, that of a woman well-loved and who knows it. She’s practically purring with contentment and love in those pictures.
As a fellow fan termed it, the ‘quiet intimacy’ is glaring to anyone who’s been in an intimate relationship.
No amount of ill will or blabbing can change or taint that.
But let me not stop anyone if that is what will help you cope with the pain, enjoy…
Zac and Vanessa are so sweet as a couple.

The fact that Zac took Vanessa is enough for any rational thinking human being to understand he did so because, a) he enjoys her company and b) he WANTED to take her. People don’t smile every waking moment of the day, and he certainly looks relaxed and cozy with her. Again, people need to stop making assumptions based on a split second a camera captures.
Congratulations to Zac for his fabulous box-office opening this weekend!! This answers the question about whether Zac can “open” a movie, and there’s no doubt this movie will reach the numbers it needs to be successful!!

What a lot of people don’t understand is that the photographers take 20 to 50 pictures in rapid succession. However you are looking in that 30 second time frame, that is what they will capture in all those pictures. But it seems the “insecure” crew does not know that and is out tonight looking for something to ***** about.

@Ingrid: I’m not a preteen and I saw State of Play and 17 again on both their opening nights. I must say, I felt relaxed watching 17 again…and State of Play was a good thriller but too serious. There’s no reason to knock either movie, they’re both entertaining…Even if it’s not original as SOP isn’t either…I’m happy that either one made it to the top box office in sales. They’re both winners.

And the LA Times says “17 Again” has a budget of of just more than $40 million. That is NOT $50 million no matter how much you want it to be.

@Kay: I saw them both on opening day….I thought they were equally good, and depending on one’s mood…If you want something heartfelt and goodnatured, laugh, to reminence…I’d say 17Again is your movie….If you want to try to tackle the thrill of a mystery of winds, turns and hidden agendas…State of Play will take you there…these two films can not compare, they’re both decent films, already done, remade, whatever…these are the two types of films that appeal to the masses…in these days…a more humourous film might be the answer to take ones mind off of the mundane and burdensome things in life. Glad it made it to no1…and glad State of Play didn’t trail to far off it’s path.

Thanks Naoni, I love when the naysayers come out with things like “Zac seens bored” or He doesn’t want to be there” What do they think is happening, little Vanessa is somehow forcing him to do things against his will? They’re at a baskerball game, as much as she likes it , I ‘m sure it was Zac who suggested it.If he wanted to go with someone else, I’m sure none of his friends would have turned down a courtside seat at a playoff game. I can just imagine them blowing up every picture to try to find some flaw. Happy that his movie is doing so well.

Hi there happy to oblige
First off I have NEVER said that I am a Zikki lover which for your information and anybody else’s I’m NOT a Zikki fan and never have been.
I am very far from being a Vanessa hater this woman is georgous, indepedant, has great dignity and many, many more qualites all becuase I don’t care for Zac like ever other female or think he’s god gift and can do no wrong, well that is my opin ion to which I’m entitled which I do without using foul language and calling other people on the board names who disagree with me as just like me that is their right to say what they feel about a topic that is going on.
I for one am lookingforward to Vanessa’s up and coming film and for one will be glad to see her act with somebody else other than efron as people seem to think that she will only contiune to suceed if she is with him, I for onethin k that she has managed well enough before she hooked up with him and will contiune to do so no matter what the situation is with the realctionship, Zac is’nt the only with talent.
I know I’m bad, but the first thing I thought about when I saw him holding her foot was his skit on SNL.
