Sophia Bush: A Gaythering Storm!
There is a storm being caused by gay marriage and we are all in serious trouble. Sophia Bush and a bunch of other celebs got together to shoot The Gaythering Storm, a Funny or Die parody of the The Gathering Storm ad made by the National Organization for marriage, which preaches against same-sex unions.
The comedy sketch also features: Alicia Silverstone, Lance Bass, George Takei, Sarah Chalke and Jason Lewis.

And thank you Kayla, it’s true- a real Christian would not throw stones or make judgements. Message to self: I really must ask my doctor why he is afraid of gay marriage., though I have a feeling he will laugh his head off!
Sorry you’re so horribly confused, but the world is full of different people of different faiths, cultural backgrounds, etc. and you are destined to have a very tough time navigating through life if you continue feeling so threatened by them. If your faith is so strong, it will endure, regardless of what others do around you. Your Christian church does not have a monopoly on marriage, anyway…marriage exists everywhere, in nearly every religion. Atheists get married, does that threaten you too? What about Hindu marriages-those people believe in lots of gods-you will have to stay away from these dangerous people.

I am a Christian and I still think the video is hilarious. Personally I do believe homosexuality is a sin, but so are many other things, some of which I do myself. None of us is perfect so I choose not to judge.
I found funny how religious people who are against gay people/marriage say that God makes them who they are, but apparently God did not make a gay people gay and that was NEVER his plan. Haha. Silly. Why would God create a phenomenom like that if he hates them? I love this.

I’m confused. Whatever happened to people being entitled to their opinions? I mean if you’re for gay marriage, then fine. And if you’re against it, then fine too. You’re entitled to your opinion even if some people don’t like or don’t agree with it. Sophia Bush is a hottie!

This is a great parody. Boy that original was ridiculous. How could people make something so stupid that ultimately hurt their cause. In the parody, the last part was the funniest about building a jiant umbrella against the gay rain.
It doesn’t matter to me if she was hardly in it and didn’t get the funny lines, I just have a lot of respect for the fact that Sophia Bush (and all the other people who did this video) are standing up for human equality. I saw a video on Youtube of Sophia Bush talking about Proposition 8 (clearly she was against the passing of it) and she was really eloquent and intelligent with what she was saying. I’m always happy to see posts about Sophia Bush here, and even happier when they’re about her standing up for a good cause such as this.

It wasn’t as funny as the Colbort one but it was pretty funny LOL.The weather man and Sarah Chalk were the best parts. And the lady at the end who’s name I can never remember… OH, and the ad brought to you by God and Doctors. Because Doctors hate gay marriage…

the new version of the clip is great but i’m shocked, that the original one is possible, cause it’s far beyond christian values and humanity.
Video is awesome. And for the morons in this thread, Christians didn’t invent marriage and they don’t own it. If you have a problem with homosexuality, then don’t have gay sex, but your beliefs should in no way stop someone else from living their life and being happy.
Also, Jared, I have to ask. Are you on Sophia’s payroll? You seem to be the only gossip site that cares about featuring her on a regular basis, and out of all of the awesome people in this video, she’s the one you pimp? Wha?

Here in Denmark gay marrige has been legal since 1st October 1989 - so almost 20years and the sky has yet to fall….. basic human right
